  1. Thank you Pete for your time and patience. I started again and used FSUIPC solely for calibration. That's working fine. Many decades ago I clocked 20-odd hours of lessons in a Cessna 150 but simply couldn't afford to continue. For the time being I am satisfied with the Cessna 172 in FS. I find it harder to fly that the real life 150. No intention of exploring more exotic craft yet. paradiddle.
  2. I am trying to use FSUIPC3 in FS2004. For the moment I'm interested in a single engine piston aircraft.
  3. I can see only one enable/disable tick box in FS Settings, it's called Enable Joystick. (There's a similar facility in the FS flight window under Options.) In the Assignments and the Sensitivities tabs there is a drop down box in which to select either the yoke or the pedals. If I tick the Enable Joystick box and then click on Calibrate Joystick, a window Called Game Controllers opens up. There's a Controller column listing two items; the yoke and the pedals, and a Status column with OK for both items. I see no way of enabling or disabling either one separately. If the Enable Joystick is not ticked, the Calibrate Joystick option is greyed out. In the Assignments tab I haven't touched anything; both the yoke and pedals work with default settings. I have FSUIPC3 by the way. I FSUIPC.ini
  4. No assignments in FS have been changed, both yoke and pedals worked without me changing anything - which I wouldn't know how to do anyway. The Joystick in FS2004 is disabled, so I don't see how assignments in FS are relevant. You say controllers, plural. What others are there? I'm totally confused. How can I erase everything I've done in FSUIPC and start again?
  5. I've recently downloaded FSUIPC and started to calibrate my CH Yoke and CH Pro pedals. The yoke calibration went well, but the rudder pedals didn't. Moving the pedals makes no change in the values displayed in the Rudder section of FSUIPC's display, but change the values in the Throttle section. The left toe brake changes values in the Aileron section, the right brake changes values in the Elevator section. I am at a complete loss as to what to do. Help would be appreciated.
