Hi Pete! My you remeber me on stand 61 in blackpool, i was exibiting as AOG. We have the FWXR2100 working with your FSUIPC, the gauge registers itself. More and more customers found that they had problems with the registration. It works on many machines but on some it doesn't. Message boxes appear that unregistered gauges are used, some simply do not work without message. Are there any know bugs on your side, since i read something about registering long names or so. FSWXR2100.gau is our. As said it works on many machines... Is it possible that a change in some file version / ventries cause a problem ? kind regards florian

Hi Pete! Is there any chance to give applications running on a wideclient the focus via a fsuipc offset. I have programmed a stand alone weather radar which runs on a PM FMC computer and is controllable via the LSK's. Now i want to switch the focus between PM CDU and the weather radar application via FSUIPC. Any idea how to realize that ? kind regards florian

Hi Pete! I am programming a software for a Hardware MCP for a 757... If i want to use the FS Internal Key events (like used in a gauge) , how do that with fsuipc ? I guess the offset 0x3200 does something similar? what is it dowing exactly and where are the parameters described ? kind regards florian

Hi pete! Okay your calculation is right Problem is i have to read up 128 different stations... first i do to reduce the max number of my stations... there is a great posibility here (but makes another part a little complex) I though fsuipc is faster than the more complex part, but surly not second i do ist try to only read those stations that are new within a certain time period... At all, where my confusion comes from, is that I thought fsuipc is working another way...but now i understand the problem... thanks florian

Thanks... 1. yes i only read weather, and i have to read up to 128 stations within 3 seconds 2. of course i use fsuipc_open2 3. my program flow looks like this Request Station back to FS Read Staion and check if ICAO is updated, if not request same station again if updated then rewuest next station back to fs and so on until all stations of interest are read.. kind regards florian

Hi Pete and all others! What increases the performance of fsuipc acesses, in special the new weather interface. I saw a drop in framerates when starting to acess to NWI form a gauge within FS. Give me just a feel of what is better.... setting up more single processes, for e. reading numer of cloudslayer and the reading only lets say two new cloud structures or reading nr of cld layers and 24 cloud structures as one ?? whats better ? less processes and higher number of read bytes or more single processes and lower data count? kind regards florian
