Just recently my ATI 9800 Video card's cooling fan decided to seperate from the card and cause my system to take a royal dump.
I took it in for a repair anmd the servive fella told me my hard drive went south as well,,, "but, thats a different story"
Anyway, I bught a new drive and purchased a card he recomemded.. the ATI 9250 with 256 on the memory. I know this is less the card than the 9800 but I have plans to purchase a new XPS 700 soon so I skimped a little..
Im am having to rebuild FS9 from scratch again and have managed to get most of it done but Im having a problem with the surface visibility layer not graduating to the clear sky enviorment above.
It looks very harsh. You take off with say 10 miles of visibilty and you climb through that layer and you see a harsh whiitish area below you. A definite line where that area stops and the clear begins. This is really bad in mountainious areas. You see the clear tops and haze distorted sides. Ive never had this problm before, Is there a setting in the FS9 config to fix this? I have a registered version and the latest of FSUIPC but I'm not really familiar with the advanced features.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
