  1. Hi Holger,

It is strange and wierd but i just started up FS and activated north America Mesh of FSGlobal2008 again in order to take the screenshot for you.

After activation (i didn't change the layer priority) Tongass is looking just fine......the problem is solved i guess.

Don't ask how......it just is the case :-)

Thanks very much for your answers guy's, i am happy.

I will be even more happy after GlacierBay2 comes out :-)

    regards,

    Ben

  2. Hi Francois,

Thanks for your message, I have tongass installed above FSGlobal2008.

It is a fully new install because i am setting up a clean and new PC (very fast one :-) )

By the way....i had the same problems when i installed Glacier Bay (last and old version) a few weeks ago on my former PC.

let me know when i can do something to test.

    Regards,

    Ben

  3. Hello people,

I just installed the new FSGlobal 2008, after the installation the coastlines and mesh is disturbed in FSAddon Tongass area.

Deactivating FSGlobal2008 solves the problem but i would rather see

it working together like with FSGlobal2005. (that worked fine with Tongass)

    Anyone else having this problem?

Are there any way's to correct the problem other than deactivating Noth America part of FSGlobal2008?

    help is highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance, regards,

    Ben van Boom

  4. Hi Guy's,

    Well....problem solved.

This is a new Computer and the past two weeks i was busy installing all the scenery's i use.

I use a lot of bush scenery's and i discovered that i had installed Bob's Harvey scenery for FS2002 two weeks ago.

Looking after my FS directory structure i discovered this one.

Didn't even knew that i did install this scenery.

After disabling it the runway and taxiway poped up.

So it was the HarveyFs2k that was bothering me.

Thank you very much for your effort.

    Regards,

    Ben

  5. Hello,

I purchased Harvey and Monroe and have a problem.

The runway and taxiway textures at Harvey are missing (only shows the ground BMP of the scenery with a blurry runway and taxiway).

At monroe the runway textures are there but the taxiway textures are missing (only shows the ground BMP of the scenery with a blurry taxiway).

    See attached PIC....

I hope there is a solution?

I have installed FSGlobal Mesh but disabeling the North America part won't change anything, so i don't think that has anything to do with it.

Thansk in advance for your help.

  6. Hi Pete,

I just connected a fourth client to my homebuild cockpit.

Strange thing is that this one is causing the problem that once and a while

there are 28 clients connected, as can be seen in the menubar of FS2004.

This moment there are 4 clients connected, the other moment 11 clients connected and the other moment 28 clients connected......and back to 4 again.

I use the registered versions with PM and aerosoft software.

    Any idea's what's causing this?

    Kind regards,

    Ben

  7. Hi Pete,

PM support isn't updated by me about this problem.

"Q" key did dhut down PM so i won't cantact them i think.

maybe i found the problem and maybe you can help me.....

The other PC's wich are shutting down with the hotkey CTLR-SHIFT-E on the FS server, aren't configured by me.

Maybe i should tell WindowsXP on the "problem PC" that with this hotkey it should close PM, WC and WinXP?

On the correctly shutting down PC's PM and WC are closing and directly thereafter WinXP is closing and the PC is shut off. So maybe i should tell WinXP what to do?

Can you confirm this and give hints how to do that?

    Thanks in advance.

    regards,

    Ben.

  8. Hi Pete,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes all other PC's are o.k. and the program versions are the same.

I must say that i copied the program and .ini from the PC's that are closing o.k. so i don't miss any settings.

Others " programmed those for me and i have put a new PC in the network by myself.

That PC is running o.k. in the network though, i know that because it comes from my wideview system (5 PC's) now into my homebuild cockpit.

Should i put a line somewhere into the server?

The bug on PM loosing registration on non normal closing is known as others told me. It happened on one of my other PC's also.

The "Q"key was unknown by me though....thanks.

I hope you can give some further tips for the shutdown problem.

    Regards,

    'Ben.

  9. Hi all,

One of my 5 PC's in my homebuild cockpit refuses to shutdown with my hotkey "CTL-SHIFT-E".

I have put the line "Allowshutdown" in the clients ini but still one of the PC's refusus to shut down.

Due to this i have to shutdown the PC unregurarely wich causes Project Magenta to lose it registration number.......

Does anyone have some tips for my in order to make it work?

    Help is much apreciated.

    regards,

    Ben

    The Netherlands.

  10. Hi Rob,

Hmm.......believe me the place is absolutely fantastic and not again to speak about the take-off and dive down....

Screenshots will follow when at least a few houses are there.

First i will have to solve my little Gmax problem, but with all those great guy's on the Avsim scenery design forum it won't last long....

Ultralights are just to slow and toooooooooo cold in the winter...

    regards,

    Ben

  11. Hi Rob,

Everything except ultra lights and balooning sounds good to me.

I just can't wait to get started, i am learning Gmax and scenery design at the moment.

I want some more great airports in the Washington State area....

I have already build a Runway on top of the highest mountain, with view over Emma and "the other Runway with the nice water approach".

I am about to place my first house there too.......since i wasn't one of the first to earn a free house at Diamont Point.........

People can "rent" a house at my "top of the mountain" airfield soon.

You should feel how it is, performing a take-off from my runway at thousants of feel elevation and dive down to Emma .

    By the way.......what's vintage?

    regards,

    Ben

  12. Gentlemen, we are sitting here waiting for your comments on GeoRender3. It's selling very fast (very fast indeed), we can see that but we really want to know how you like it.

    Hi Mathijs (hi guy's),

To contribute to this tread, my comments:

I can't wait for the Emma Field Flying Club becoming active!

This statement is how i feel about the series of Bush scenery's from Lago.

I am a user of WidevieW and have an outside view of 5 monitors over a 180 degree angle.....using the Georender scenery's in that environment is just great. (for an example how that looks take a look at http://www.dfso.nl/images/cockpit/lowi.JPG and http://www.dfso.nl/images/cockpit/eham2.JPG. Pictures not taken at Emma or Diamont Point though.)

I sure hope to see more of those great scenery's coming out.

    My comments are:

    1. winter textures bleeding problem as reported by others but not only on approach but also taxying around the East side of the airport.

    2. The sounds of Emma and Diamont Point i hear also on Schiphol airport in The Netherlands when approaching the ground.

I wondered if it is just imagination, suffering from "homesickness to Emma" returning to the Netherlands after those fine bushflights in the Washington state.... :?

    Regards,

    Ben.
