    Apologies for the same message again but posted this in the wrong forum.

    I have now purchased Orcas, disabled the FSGenesis 'dem38m_uswc_vancouver.bgl' but still get the 'walls of water' problem.

    I have all available FSGenesis mesh files installed including the new buffer mesh (don't have any other mesh files other than FSG). Where am I going wrong ??? Are there other FSG mesh files covering this area ???

    What else do I need to disable to return Orcas to default mesh and normality ???

    Mesh Conflict and Bill Lyons Flatten File ???

    I have read a lot about mesh conflicts and Orcas Island.

    I am aware that the scenery was designed to work ONLY with the default mesh, but I have also read that Bill Lyons had a file included with Custom Classics X dealing with this problem ???

    Does this actually solve the problem of Orcas being lower than the surrounding area ??? Therefore making Orca's work with eg FSGenesis 38m mesh for that area ???

    Lastly, are there any conflicts with UT USA and Orca's ???

    Misty Advice Needed

    I am still keen to buy Misty but need peoples advice on a few issues first.

    I currently have FSfreeware usa_roads & FSfreeware usa_waters together with FSfreewares 76m & 38m meshs covering the whole of the USA and Canada. Good products, but now the problems. :?

    To use Misty, Holger tells me that I would need to disable sections of the above road & water packages so no clashes with Misty. Makes perfect sense. Contacted Raimondo at FSfreeware, but cannot do this due to how his programme is constructed. Could only use Misty OR FSfreeware. :(

    Therefore the advice need is

    (1) I want to replace my road and rails package with another that allows me to disable the area that covers Misty so I get the FULL benefit of Misty AND continue to use the areas outside Misty as normal. I don't want to be enabling, disabling, enabling, disabling etc every time I leave the Misty area.

    What do you suggest is the best replacement ??? :?:

    (2) Are there any other USA water packs available covering streams, rivers, lakes and coastlines etc that I can again use together with Misty (or rather outside of the Misty area) ??? :?:

    Long post I know, but if Misty is as good as it looks then I want to be part of the action and enjoy the scenery as much as everyone else. PLEASE HELP!!! :D :D :D

    Does anyone know the compatibility of Misty Fjords with FS Freeware's USA Waters and USA Roads as well as Fscene ???

    Any help/advice would be welcome before I try and download (dial up = headache)

    Thanks Ruud.

    I now have 16 of the packs, and very happy with the results (Nepal problem solved I am pleased to say!).

    I note that the Asia-Fall pack is not yet out until next month. Will the '40 euros offer' still be available when it is released ???

    I would like to get the last 8 seasons, including the above, but would obviously like to pay for them all together as opposed to individually.

    Thank you all for the information. I was never aware that certain textures are selected worldwide. I thought that they would only be selected for their nominated areas only.

    With regards to the picture, would purchasing the relevevant area texture packs solve the problem ??? :?:

    If so, what would I need for the Nepal area ? :?:

    Today I purchased the Fscene textures packs for USA/Canada and South America (all seasons). After exploring these areas, I decided to take a flight over Nepal (considering purchasing this area also).

    I have noticed that the textures here have now changed from the default FS9 ones to what looks very similar to the Fscene textures, however with pale areas.

    Does anyone know what has gone wrong???

    I have followed the instructions to the letter!!!

    HELP!

    When using some add on meshes (LAGO, Christian Stock's NZ150 as examples), I sometimes see straight lines appearing on some of the scenery, particularly around mountainous/hilly areas. I have searched throughout these forums looking for an answer.

    PLEASE can someone tell me what I am doing wrong???
