Just tested FSUIPC5.101k, and lots of problem's,
1. mouse can not be used to click on any control surfaces in the Sim.
2. landing gear on the sim in retracted as it is sitting on the ground. Missing landing gear.
3. yoke on Sim is pulled back and turn all the way over to the right.
reverting back to 5.101j

Pete I found the problem and I got FSUIPC5 installed.
In the Device Manager under Human Interface Devices, there were 5
HID-compliant consumer control device
I disabled them all and 5 and FSUIPC5 installed without a problem.
Log attached.

I deleted the .dll and the .ini from the sim, because it say's on page 6 of the user's guide to de-install remove them. I can't use the program is they are installed.
I dont have a "Flight Mode Switch" that I know of. I went into the setting for the sim and under controls it show's the mouse and that it. I have never had a flight sim controller, I use the keyboard to control the sim.

Unsuccessful run, There is no FSUIPC5.INI before the run. So I ran the program and then inserted Debug=Please and LogExtras=x200000 to the FSUIPC5.INI,
Run the program and here are those files.

To see how far that gets, to determine what is going on, I need logs with
added to the [General] section of the FSUIPC5.INI.
Please also check whether a partial FSUIPC5.JoyScan.csv file is produced. The first part may be. If it is there I need to see that too.
Thanks,
PeteIm checking .log files right now to see if any have
Debug=Please
LogExtras=x200000in them and so far, no luck.

I have no joystick connected to this. I never have. the only device's not original to the PC, is the keyboard and the mouse.
-
Ive tryed with keyboard / mouse installed, and not, I also removed the program for the keyboard / mouse and still no good.
-
Still working on it.

pcssundahl you have to send the FSUIPC5.log after you try installing FSUIPC5 with your reg key. the one you sent was the log from installing without the key.
Navigation go to the first page of this forum, at the top you will see Download links. then find Useful additional programs. you can find the HidScanner there.

I can do that. I'll help as I can. I did just send you the files from the last try. and still no good.

Im still having the same problem, I think I'll wait for your final version to be released. I can run the unreg version at the moment. I'll try to solve the problem then,
Thanks a Million

I see you are still using the original release of FSUIPC, from last Thursday. 5.10. It might be a good idea to at least change to 5.101. I'm working on 5.102.
Oh deal. you are using 4.964, a pretty old one, on P3D3. The joystick scanning is completely differnt in that one. The equivalent to FSUIPC5.1 is 4.967, the currently suppoted version.
Please try not to use unsupported versions.
Pete
The only download I received from SimMarket is the version 5.10, Where do I get 5.101.

Im not sure this will matter. but attached is the P3Dv3 log file. it was working with the old verison.
-
Ok I disconnected the keyboard and the mouse. both wireless. restarted my pc. reinstalled F5 and still no good.
attached are the two new files
-
Well by the look of it, Its the wireless keyboard.
