Hey Pete, While I was collecting the data you requested & after a couple more crashes & tried copying FSUIPC4_Loader.dll to the modules folder & that seems to have fixed it. Is this file needed? Or just a coincidence its working. I ran the installer exe from within the zip file, so maybe it wasn't copied. Thanks for the help.

Hey Guys, I've had a problem with FSUIPC crashing upon loading FSX since a few days before the security flaw. At the time, it was resolved by uninstalling a demo for FSDT's JFK. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but it worked fine after. However, it has recently started to crash again, now running the lastest version too. My FSX is almost plain vanilla as its used for development. I never had problems with FSUIPC before. I am running Windows8 64bit. I can't really think of anything else relevant. I just thought I'd ask for help before I have to wipe FSX & re-install.
