  1. Hello

I too have a similar problem to the original poster.

I bought FSUIPC for FS9 some time ago and registered it.I've recently had a new W7 64bit machine and have re installed FS9 successfully. The version 3.998n has also been installed and I entered the key I had with an old email address. It says it has accepted this but on opening FS9 the FSUIPC says it is unregistered

Any ideas.I am logged on as an administrator

  2. Hi Chris

Thanks for all the replies.I have discovered a Cumulus file which I had NOT installed. This is now installed and I seem to everything back to normal.

I think I removed the original Cu 01 when I should have just copied it then installed yours for overwrite.

Would this have caused the problem do you think?

I told you I had messed it up!

  3. I still have the problem.

Very blocky Cumulus clouds with jagged edges. Is this how the DXT set looks?According to Explorer I have the 32 bit Cu in the textures folder!

The original default clouds are fluffy looking and reasonably realistic. How do the DXT texture clouds look?

  4. Hi Chris

My PC is running FS9 in 32 bit resolution.

I have render to texture ON.

I have a large texture folder(1225 files)including 16 cirrus,a Cumulus02 file and various other Cu types.Plus CuNim and Cld files.

I have sub folders under "texture"with 32 bit Cumulus 01 from your set and friendly cirrus 32 bit from your set.

I do not see any DXT in there.

    Any more ideas?

  5. Hi

I think I have messed up the process of adding new textures-(HIFPSV2).I thought I had added the 32 bit options and they do appear in the textures folder as a sub folder.

However I started getting a CTD when loading(77% just as someone else reported a while ago)Also I was getting frequent CTDs when flying.

On the flightsim.com forum I was advised to use "Render to texture"which does stop the CTDs even though I am running 32 bit.

But I now have very "blocky"clouds even though the sim flies very smoothly through them!

I still have the default cirrus in the textures folder as well as your 32 friendly file.

I wonder if someone can explain what is going on.I guess I have done something stupid but with clouds the sim now looks wierd.
