FSUIPC 3.44 registration problem

I have just built a new game system, copied all of my old registered FSUIPC & WIDEFS files (the key file included) from old system, downloaded & installed the latest FSUIPC & WIDEFS files. Now when I go into modules from inside FS9, it shows that I have an unregistered copy of FSUIPC. Tried to register using my key & it says invalid. Any suggestions? Thanks...
