Hi,
I am running MSFS with FSUIPC7 (registered). I need help with programming Elevator Trim to a button. I refer to user manual page 25 and tried different parameters as i.e. 256/16383, 512/16383, 1024/16383 but I did not notice any change in trim characteristics.
I own a (bad) "Flightvelocity" trim wheel which sends button keypresses instead of axis data and I want to make trimming a bit more efficient than it is per default.

Hi John,
thank you for your additional advice on the missing step. I did not select the checkbox "Axis Elev. Trim Set" . Trim Wheel is working now with default setting "send to FS as normal Axis". I am going to purchase a registered copy of FSUIPC7.

Thank you; I try it again. But it will take one or two days. I am having problems with my PC and need to figure out where do it come from. I am back, as soon FS is running again.

1) Here are the requested files.
2) I have sent data direct to FSUIPC calibration. But in menu Joystick calibration - Elevator trim, none of displayed figures did change when turning the wheel. Btw. I know this function from FSUIPC4. Additionally I did the same with my Yoke, which is working fine in MSFS. Calibration figures did not change either, when moving the Yoke.

Thank you John for providing the key, but I had no success so far.
Here is what I did:
- Start FSUIPC with Alt+F
- Axis Assignment
- Rescan
- rotate Trim Wheel
- Trim Wheel immediately identified; IN and OUT numbers are changing with wheel movment
- send to FS as normal Axis
- made a Testflight
But Trim Wheel does not affect flight behaviour, as it was without FSUIPC.
Any idea what else I could try ?

Hi,
my old Saitek Trim Wheel is not working in MSFS. Strangly, the Trim Wheel is being identified by MSFS correctly and can be calibrated as other hardware (Saitek Yoke). But turning the Trim Wheel in flight does not affect the behaviour of the aircraft at all.
My question now is, will I get the Saitek Trim Wheel working with registered version of FSUIPC7 ?

at first, I want to point out, my posting is just a feedback, no complaint. I know very well, that every system is different and what works for one system may have an opposite affect at another one.
To answer your question: No; I did not use both settings at the same time. I used either AffinityMask setting –OR- Multicore Environment. I have never used both together. But maybe, I should try, to use it together.
Blurred textures was somewhat strange to me, because I got blurred textures, despite FPS was limited to 25. But I got blurred textures only when deactivating Core1.
Can you explain, why lower priority might help at 25 FPS to avoid blurred textures ? If you have any idea, what could I try, I will do it.
Btw, I am going to Rhodos for Holidays on September 2nd.

at first, my system: WIN7/32, CPU i7 920 (HT disabled), 3GB RAM, GTX285 1GB
I am running FSX only; no additional software. Before Multicore Environment Advanced, I have been using AFFINITYMASK=14 in FSX.cfg, because it gave me maximum FPS and smoothest running (almost no stutters). With Multicore Environment Advanced and activating Core1 - Core4, I get good FPS, but stutters, as I was used to have, without AFFINITYMASK setting. Who loves stutters; I do not. Activating only Core2, Core3, Core4 , as recommended here, gave fast and smooth running, but terribly blurried textures, i.e. texture load does not take place on time. Stutters or blurried textures are making the decission easy to stick to AFFINITYMASK setting, because it gives me indeed a fast an smooth running FSX. But I am open to any advice.

thank you for your quick reply. I know that fscene2004 is a new product , because I am already using USA&CANADA summer textures. Just let me know how many (percent approximately) of old, fscene2002 europe textures will be used in fs2004 when updating the product.

Hello friends,
long time ago I have purchased FSCENE2002 EUROPE textures. If I am now purchasing the update version for FS2004, what do I get ? Do I get new FS2004 textures ? The reason for the question is, because I tried FSCENE2002 textures in FS2004 which basically works. I did not check if they are arranged and displayed correctly. But the colour scheme of FS2002 textures does, according to my opinion, not fit to the new, differing colour scheme of FS2004 and I do not want to use the old textures in FS2004. Please let me know, what I what I will get.

Hello Friends,
I applied fscene2004-all-patch-01 to fscene2004 US and CANADA summer textures. I expected an improvement on appearance of dark woods but instead of, I got greyish-green woods. I then changed back to original textures and got dark green woods again. I detected, that the textures # 024b2su1-7 are making this greyish-green appearance. I have no clue what is wrong, but I think, this cannot be the intended improvement.

I have just installed Terra Mesh Europe 2002. It looks very very good. But I have installed AUSTRIA PROFESSIONAL 2002 SCENERY too. When comparing the appearance of austrian mountains “designed” by Terra Mesh with those “designed” by Austria Professional Scenery, I can see, that the moutains designed by the mentioned Austrian scenery are still a little more detaíled. Therefore I want to keep the mesh of Austria Prof. Scenery for the area of Austria (as far as possible) and I want to keep Terra Mesh of LAGO for all of the remaining area of europe. But when activating Terras Mesh it covers completely the original special austrian mesh. I do not want to delete or rename the austria1.bgl and austria2.bgl file because of loosing to much. Is there any possibility to change entries in the scenery.cfg file ?
