  1. Thank your all you help in this. I successfully created the profiles for the aircraft--I appreciate your insights-- Robert
  2. Thanks for your comments. I will try your suggestions when I return tomorrow. I do have a question regarding the profile name. I had used the name "Boeing 777-2000LR." which I identified from the aircraft.cfg file; the PMDG aircraft are not streamed. Why is referred to as "777-200LR?" Thanks, I appreciate your time Robert
  3. I have read the documentation for the creation of Profiles (files) and I have continue to have problems with the correct .ini file being read. I have attached the fsuipc.ini and log file. I also appended the Profile file (PMDG772LR.ini). Please note "config" in the fsuipc7.ini file for the PMDG772LR aircraft. Apparently, the needed data are never read from the profile file. I'd appreciate any help--Thanks-- Robert FSUIPC7.log FSUIPC7.ini PMDG772LR.ini
  4. Thanks John for your help--the *.ini file was indeed a bit "rough." I regenerated it and have carefully been adding axes and button assignments. Thanks again--Regards, Robert
  5. I updated yesterday MADDOGX aircraft with their HFs. Since then when I fly the PMDG 738, the sim hangs; if I disconnect fsuipc7 the sim is restored. Unfortunately, all my button and axes assignments are missing! I have uninstalled and reinstalled fsupic7 (current version)-same problem. I have created a support ticked at MADDOGX. I have attached the fsupc7 log file and the PMDG *.ini file--again I have changed nothing except the MADDOGX HFs. I appreciate any help or suggestions--Thanks, Robert P.S. I guess I could uninstall the MADDOGX aircraft if necessary and see if that resolves the problem. FSUIPC7.log FSUIPC7.ini
  6. It does! Thank you very much--Regards Robert
  7. Thank you--The entry for the KEY EFIS Range is not in the custom controls. There is a list of key commands in the MADDOGX documentation directory. I am trying to associate a button with the Key Command to increase the EFIS range-nothing has worked so far (including the above). When I enter the either the DEC/HEX as a custom control nothing happens--Thanks again for your help-- Robert P.S. I have attached the .log file FSUIPC7.log
  8. I am attempting to assign a Button for the "Key Event EFIS1 Range." The DEC/HEX values are "69911" and "0x11117." I've tried for Button 58=PC,0,C69911 (page 23 of the Advanced Manual) with no success. Any help would be appreciated--Thanks, rw
  9. Thanks very much-- Robert
  10. Just to clarify the steps involved: 1) UseProfiles=YES 2) Create a "PROFILES" folder; create the profile for the aircraft, e.g.maddogx.ini 3) In fsuipc7 for EACH Aircraft have the following entries: [Profile.maddogx} 1=? Is it the name of the aircraft, in the simobjects\airplanes\maddogx\aircraft.cfg file, the string following "Title="? And does this apply to every potential livery, e.g. a separate Profile and name? Thanks-- Robert
  11. Pete--I've been following this thread for some time. I have updated the .dll (5.101d) and still no joy with the PMDG 747--dark screens and no countdown initialization. I have attached the requested files--Thanks for your help-- Robert FSUIPC5.ini FSUIPC5.log FSUIPC5.JoyScan.csv
  12. Pete--I have currently several rocker switches that I use to control the PMDG 737/777 MCP. For example, the Airspeed Increase/Decrease command in fsuipc is 9=R2,4,K74,11 10=R2,5,K75,11 The problem is repeated pushes never hit the right AS, e.g. 150 KIAS to 160 KIAS usually winds up ~165 KIAS. I've experimented with the Action, the PollInterval and the ButtonRepeat parameters, but have not been successful. Any ideas/assistance would be appreciated--Thanks, Robert
  13. Thanks again--I will--I was not trying to relate the crashes to FSUIPC, but only to understand what the error log was actually saying--Regards, Robert
  14. Update--The re-flight ended in the same way--This time the fsuipc.log file (attached) indicates a "lost focus to dwm.exe." Any suggestions or is a reinstall suggested?--Thanks-- Robert P.S. ASN disabled, fsuipc 4.94p fsuipc.log.focus.txt
  15. Thanks Pete--I will try again with the updated fsuipc-- Robert
