Interestingly, I tries to enter my name, date and registration key directly into the program .cfg file under the heading [essential]. I used wordpad and then saved the file. It would seem that when I start FS( and then FSNav, the program must be rewriting the .cfg file as when I look later, the data I entered is gone. Really strange.

Yes, I checked and everything is in the correct format. I've had to reinstall FSNav several times since I purchased it in 2001 and I've never had it do this before. Very strange.

I had to uninstall and reinstall FS9. When I reinstalled FSNav, I immediately tried to register it. I entered my name, date of purchase and registration code. The problem is that the OK key is greyed out. I have my code right in front of me but for some reason, FSNav won't let me click OK. Any ideas? Thanks.

FSX crash due to FSUIPC?
in FSUIPC Support Pete Dowson Modules
Posted
Since a recent reinstall of everything, FSX, Radar Contact, Active Sky Advanced, FSPassengers, and FSUIPC, The program has been freezing when I'm on final approach. It works fine up to that point, but then the program freezes and I have to hold the power button to get out. When I look at the error event viewer, I get the folowing message:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.dll". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="67c7c14424d61b5b",type="win32",version="10.0.61259.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
Does anyone have any idea what this might mean and how do I fix it. BTW, the FSUIPC is an unregistered version if this makes any difference. Thanks
Mike
