Hi,
Has anyone else noticed that the hot key combo for clearing the weather has stopped working in version 3.5 of FSUIPC? I use Ctrl+Shift+W
Mike
Mine works perfectly well.
-
I set up both fields just like stated in the documentation. Only way I could get rid of it was to delete the config file and restart FS9, then restart SB3. Even rebooting both PCs gave me a mic on without even touching the joystick.
If your mic is on without touching the joystic then that would be a joystick issue; FSUIPC cant make your joystick start transmitting.

I'm running WideFS 6.5 and FSUIPC 3.5. I mapped a button on my Joystick following the instructions in FSUIPC and it pushes to talk alright, but then it sticks open. Anybody got any ideas? Is there anything different that needs to be set in SB3? BTW, the first time I tried to do this is after I installed the new versions. Oh, and for what it's worth, I have a fully registered version of both products. Thanks
Did you set up both fields as in PTT Transmit and PTT OFF or whatevfer it says? or did you just put PTT ON in one field and call it good?

Hello everyone,
I have got a registred version of FSUIPC 3.411 and I would like to fly online with the IVAO Network. But when I start the Pilot Client it say that it couldn't find FSUIPC. Now I want to try to update my version to 3.5 and I already downloaded this file. I have replaced the .dll file but the registration was gone!
Do I have to buy a new one for every update?
Many thanks to all,
Kay Richter
It should have just picked up your key file. just re-enter your details and your fine. You did keep your registration details.....didnt you?

My 6800 ULTRA takes forever to load the map; however my ATI X850XY does so instantly. Im not quite sure what the deal is with the nVidia cards and or drivers when it comes to FSNAV but its certainly annoying.

yeah, sham on me  . sometimes "quicky" seems to be very "slow", specially in holiday times. But I promise to fix it soon. (60% are allready made)
Thorsten
Right on I was just curious if it was going to happen or not. Holidays are a good thing for everyone :)
Thanks for the heads up.

Anything on this; I noticed it was stated that the yellow taxi signs would be fixed quickly. Im thinking quickly was a relative term.

SORRY this is the wrong forum section, BUT do'nt know how to move it!!
I wonder if you could advise me whether I can utilise my spare old monitor for a dual setup, with the equipment I have.
My gfx card, besides the usual socket taking my old 17" monitor, has also a small black round socket and a larger white one for flat panel monitor which I do not have.
Where could another monitor be connected ?. Thanx luke
Asus A8N sli delux
AMD 3500+ cpu

You can just get a DVI to VGA adapter and use it just fine. the white one is a DVI connector; Im supriosed your card did not come with an adapter. You can find them fairly cheaply online and it should work fine.

Hello
Is it possible to run FSNavigator on a separate computer via WideFS?
Thanks for your reply.
Paul
No its a module run within FS not a seperate program.

Hi everyone
It has probably been asked before , but after RTFM , I still can't find how to change the range by which you can detect other MP traffic .
Some help please
EddyV
Its done through your online client. So if you fly with Squawk Box you set your multiplayer range at whatever you desire and its relfected on FSNAV
-
Yep, make sure your IP address is right and your session shows up in the box.
-
You should just be able to go to options, multiplayer connect and hit join if you have an active session connected through SB3
-
FSNAV is a module that runs inside of MSFS, so you can not run it as a stand alone program on one PC and have it network via WIDEFS to the FS machine, you can however undoc it to a second monitor which is what I do and I have no performance issues doing that.
-
I run a nVidia 6800 ULTRA on 4x AA and have none of these problems so its not, under any cirumstances AA.
-
Even with multi-player connected you shouldnt have a reduction in FPS. I run both FSNAV with Multiplayer on maximum from SB and SB3 on a second monitor when not running it on my 2nd PC and can not tell a difference.
Frustrated: How does one get a new key after reformating???

No the author still retains the rights to the software. If he didnt state you could share your keys then it would still violate his EULA. Much like the RFP 747 which the authors released for freeware.
