  1. yes of course to be clear its a graphic knob or dial on a screen, its on the pmdg 737 EFIS

To rephrase I want the knob to turn in increments every time I press a key.  Currently I have number 1 set in the parameter field and that turns it once only to the right. I want to be able to keep turning it every time I press the same key so the map expands

  2. I have a rotary knob with 7 settings, each click is expanding a map so its basically a zoom

In the key stroke section if I set a parameter of 1 to that knob then it only moves one click. pressing  it twice doesn't move it further.

What parameter setting can I use to move the knob one extra click every time I press the assigned key?

  3. Thats odd Ive never had another copy except the non paid versions. Its not all to bad as fortunately I only had 3 aircraft running axis only as Linda does everything else. I do have FSX backed up but I should keep a copy of the modules folder separate from now on.

    This a complete mystery .

Even with UAC disabled I still struggle with Win7 for control of FSX. Could that be a possible cause?

Any way thanks for the very quick support and I better get back to calibrating some controls ;-)

  5. Hi

Im sure there is a logical explanation for this. My axis and joy config for my selected aircraft has reverted back to default.

I noticed the default tab that I wouldn't have touched intentionally for obvious reasons.

How is it possible that Im back to default mode? any  ideas as I would like to avoid it happening in the future

    cheers

  6. Hi, I just purchased this software and look forward to tinkering :-)

However Im sure I have missed a basic step when configuring my joystick.

My problem is when launching a flight the controls are inactive. I need to go into the calibration section and re tick profile specific ( tick isnt saving) and the controls come back to life

what am I missing? so far I have only set up the PMDG 737
