  1. Hi,

Just a post to be sure i'm doing nothing wrong (I'm not an ace in installing software)

Last year I bought the DVD-box FSC9.2 from Aerosoft wich I succesfully upgraded to 9.5.

Now I want to upgrade to 9.6.

I went to the Aerosoftsite and used my registration key to download the upgrade. With succes.

When I wanted to install, I got the warning to delete the previous version.

    I this correct?

If yes, I is sufficient to delete the previous version by uninstalling trough 'al programs menu' or is there another way to do it better?? I use windows 7 64 bit.

Is this version then a trial version or will it keep working?

    Thanks in advance.

    Lieven

  2. Hello Volker,

    Thank you for your reply.

I allready downloaded the full version.

You say:"The extension is only visible right-click on the file and select properties." ==> you lost me there, I don't understand what you mean.

On the forum I read the replace-instructions for the full version. And there I read:

"... to backup the files "Register.fsc", any "*.ini" files and the folder Flight Plan...."

Sorry to pose the same questions:

    * Register.fsc= the AS.register.fsc ?

    * Where can I find  any "*.ini" files? If Icount all the ini files in FSC9 directory, Ifind 9 files? Are that the ones?

    * I suppose a full back-up isn't really neccesary since I could reïnstall from the DVD?

    Thanks in advance

    Lieven

  3. Hi,

I would also upgrade from 9.2 to 9.5.

You say to backup the files "Register.fsc", any "*.ini" files and the folder Flight Plan.

To be sure I have some questions:

Do you mean the AS.register.fsc file?

Where can I find  any "*.ini" files? If Icount all the ini files in FSC9 directory, Ifind 9 files? Are that the ones?

I suppose a full back-up isn't really neccesary since I could reïnstall from the DVD?

    Thanks.

    Lieven
