I've tried out all compatibility modes from Windows 8 down to Windows XP, and still nothing.
I'm guessing this issue has something to do with the way FSC always tries to regain focus and stay on the top.
Is there a way of turning that off?

Hi ???,
There are 2 trial version on the market.
Re question of which trial version are you using?
Last question, you are absolutely sure that you run the FSC as an administartor?
As Tom has already written it, the problem is not known to us and we can not verify it.

I am using the trial version that you can download from fscommander.com
I run the program as an administrator and the problem still occurs.
I have noticed that right-clicking on taskbar and selecting 'show desktop' unfreezes the program, but this doesn't always work.

There is no such thing. Did you buy FSC from Aerosoft or from Simmarket or are you using the trial version?
I'm using the trial version.

I've done everything listed in the documents and the problem still occurs, even when I install and run the programs as an administrator.

I recently got the FlightSim Commander and whenever I try to tick a checkbox (for example changing altitude from high to low) the program just hangs up. Same applies for the database manager.

I'm running Prepar3D v2.2 on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
Whenever I install and run either the 175 or 195, gauges are all messed up (as shown in the FAQ).
Is there a specific way of installing files for P3D?
