Thanks pete that a great help, the main reason for shifting the controls to the client is two fold, 1, saitek say that by doing so it reduces the workload and pressure on the main pc and 2 I have been getting the problem of the whole thing crashing about an hour into the flight and fatal error appearing and the program going back to either the beginning or shutting to the desktop. naturally I assumed I was running too much stuff on the main pc. The specs of the main pc are intel 3ghz quad cpu ati radion 6000 series graphics with dual digital output 8 gig ram 550 watt psu on as rock g41m mother board windows 7 64 bit home edition sata 2 320 gig harddrive having looked about on the net it seems others have had this problem of collapsing an hour or so in and some one came up with changing a ddl file that is supposed to rid the problem, another said about running windows 8 and include the accelerator expansion pack and that cured it. if any one has any ideas on this please come back I would be happy to hear from you anthony

Hi im new to all this guys so dont get too mad at me but ive been tearing my hair out with fsx and setting up a client pc to take over the running of my saitek control panels and rudder to free up some power from the main pc. i have battled with simconnect for weeks but alas it will not run. i have followed saiteks directions to the letter and on the client once fsx is running on the server you need to start a program called saiflightsimx.exe which i have but although the direct output folder shows in the running processes and applications the sai flight sim doesnt and no connection is made so no instruments come on. I have checked I have all the files in the right place and correct and to the best of my looking they are. but something is amiss and I have come to the end of the runway so to speak. I have heard good things of the fsuipc and wide fs programs, would they be able to do the job any easier or have I just got to do battle with this dreadful sim connect thingy. some helpful words would im sure assist a good take off kind regards to all Anthony (timerepairs)
