[Tower 2011: Newbie Question for St. Thomas (Stop and Go)]

Hello.

If you look in the manual there is a specific command you need to issue for aircraft that wish to do circuits. 

 

CLEARED TO TOUCH

AND GO............................................CTRL O

may be followed by RUNWAY XX (for

airports with a multiple runways the L, R

or C designation must be used)

CLEARED FOR STOP

AND GO............................................CTRL T

may be followed by RUNWAY XX (for

airports with a multiple runways the L, R

or C designation must be used)

CLEARED FOR LOW

APPROACH......................................CTRL S

may be followed by RUNWAY XX (for

airports with a multiple runways the L, R

or C designation must be used)

ATC Suite

LEFT CLOSED TRAFFIC

APPROVED CLEARED

FOR TAKEOFF.................................CTRL 8

RIGHT CLOSED TRAFFIC

APPROVED CLEARED

FOR TAKEOFF.................................CTRL 9

 

This is on page 36 and 37 of the manual. 

The planes you are trying to control want to fly in the circuit so will remain in the aerodrome vicinity.

[Frankfurt for Tower / Problem frame rate]

Hey Timo,

It is very weird but your suggestion has actually worked. The game now plays perfectly fine. I don't understand how but Thank you very Much for your suggestion. It helped me.

I do quite like the ideas above. It does seem like it would be a good idea to have another update come to Tower 2011! 

Plus 1 for all the ideas from me.

[Frankfurt for Tower / Problem frame rate]

For me the game lags no matter the time. It also takes around 20-30min to load up before it will actually work, but then it is at a very slow frame rate. 

I love it though and really want to play it at the full possibility.

[Sudden Slow Frame rates]

Hello. 

I have had a similar problem with my Tower 2011!. A little while ago I also had a frame rate drop, but mine was not as big as hogdriver's. But it was noticeable. The only map I do have a huge frame rate problem is on EDDF where my frame rate is incredibly slow. (Less 10fps I would say)

I had a look at my Task Manager but it doesn't look like anything is being launched in the background.

[Tower 2011! Ground Charts]

Hello Everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone out there has any good links or websites where they can get the ground charts for the airports offered in Tower 2011!. I have found a good site for the american airports but for the European airports it is a lot harder. Especially for EDDF. If anyone has any or want's to share some for everyone that would be great. Thank you all.
