  1. Update: Done a full PC wipe and started from a fresh install of windows. Reinstalled everything and it looks as though the problems has gone. Just completed a circuit around EGPF in the default trike, around 15 minutes, and no terrain.dll error. I don't know, maybe the previous FSX-SE install got screwed up somehow? Anyways, the problem of the instant terrain.dll crash is now gone!
  2. A bit more troubleshooting: Went back to a totally clean installed. Fired the sim up to my default, sim runs fine for over 10 minutes. Installed and registered FSUIPC. Fired the sim up, CTD within 4 minutes. Enabled the steam terrain fix in the ini file. Fired the sim up, CTD within 4 minutes. I'm at a loss to explain this, and by the looks of it I seem to be the only person with this near instant crash using FSUIPC. I can confirm that it is the latest version I am using from the website. Thanks again if anyone can help. I have attached the ini, log and appcrash files. Regards Jaime Boyle Terrain.dll CTD.txt FSUIPC4.txt FSUIPC4ini.txt
  3. Hi guys My first post here! Unfortunately it's to ask for help. I've been getting the terrain.dll CTD on FSX:SE and I'm pretty sure I may have narrowed it down to FSUIPC. The crash happens almost instantly (2-3 minutes) and I am loaded on my default flight scenario; default Trike at EGPF. To narrow it down to FSUIPC, I disabled FSUIPC.dll in the dll.xml and reloaded the sim. 15 minutes and no CTD. To double check, I re-enabled FSUIPC and loaded the sim again. CTD returned. I have my FSX:SE install pretty vanilla and all the options are default. The only change I have made is to change 'WIDEVIEWASPECT=TRUE' in the fsx.cfg. The installs I have so far are: PMDG 777 (200LR and 300ER) Flightbeam KIAD Aerosoft Madrid Taxi2Gate Doha FSUIPC If anyone could help that would be great! I see Pete is on holiday till the end of the month, hopefully I don't need to wait that long for a solution. Here are some files that hopefully can help: Log File Ini File AppCrashView for the last four crashes (one of the crashes does have a diffferent offset value) Kind Regards Jaime Boyle
