  1. Hi .. Thank you for your awesome contribution to flight sim. I think it must be in 2000 I experienced your work the first time.

IN your latest version of  MakeRwys.EXE  Version 4.6992, by Pete Dowson readme

    Your write e.g.

UPDATING RADAR CONTACT's TRANSITION ALTITUDES FILE

If you are a user of Aivlasoft's EFB program for FSX/P3D, then part of
the updated data you will have is a file with the correct Transition
Altitudes for most airports in the world. MakeRunways can now
automatically use that file to update Radar Contact's list too.

In order to do this, you must copy RC's "M4.CSV" file into the root
FS folder, next to MakeRunways. Don't worry about EFB -- if that is
correctly installed then MakeRunways will find it.

To tell MakeRunways to update M4.CSV add a command line parameter:

    /+T

    (T for Transition Altitude).

When MakeRunways has finished simply copy the M4.CSV file back into
    RC's Data folder.

    My question is:

To tell MakeRunways to update M4.CSV add a command line parameter:

    /+T

Where do i do that.. and how.? I know how to run MakeRwys, but not where to put any command line

    All the best

    Regards

    Jens

  2. Sorry

But during the years I more or less have come to have that impression. 8)

I didn't pay any notis to the 4.232 but just the Appcrash and the same specified numbers. So I tought that when I could find a error just like mine then an explanation of this error could be found.

If each error is specific it would be wonderfull with an error catalogue.

    Thanks

  3. This was my mail to Vista Autralis

    -----------------

    G'day

I use fs navigator. The problem is when I perform the create database which I shall do each time I install scenery into FS 2004 it seems that the process will never end.

Today fs nav have chewed 5 hours. Often I have let fs nav chew on the library for let say 2 hours and then exit the database creater in a: Thats enough for today.

Acctually I don't know if FS nav accept such a procedure....

When installing world airports 2 I once experienced when the database creator reached to John F Kennedy Airport it took a day to create the database.

What do you recommend? Let the computer work through the library, give up or do something else?

    ------------------

Others on the forum experience something like this.

I makes me place an Hypothesis:

Maybe the sceneries have such a size in the last days off FS 2004 before the FSX; that fs nav just can't keep up anymore.

Is there anything there can be done about it? Fs nav have been chewing for about 25 hours - but in interrupted sequence.
