Right, now I understand. I misunderstood the nature of the program, this was probably not helped by the details in Simarket that said "First download and install the demo version and check functionality! The demo version is the product installation file; there is no other download!" OK, so it looks like whoever wrote the page didnt get the brief. Thanks for explaining it to me, now I understand what it is, I guess I better buy it. Thanks for your time.

I'm new to this, which is why I am looking for a way to use my sim with reliable controls. Everyone tells me to get FSUIPC. The Installation document that I "ignored" is a little vague, as it says "The ability to run all FSUIPC-dependent application programs. (Commercial and shareware products pay a fee or subscription. All genuine freeware programs get free access keys on application)". How am I supposed to know what is dependent and what isnt? How can this be classed as a Demo version if it doesnt actually demonstrate the functionality of the paid version? Maybe if you included the first line in your response to me in the document I "ignored" then I wouldnt have felt compelled to ask what I admitted might be a stupid question. I understand that you must get many questions of this nature, but surely, making it clear that there is no way to preview the software before having to pay for it would save you, and us, a lot of wasted time.

I have tried a number of times to install unregistered version of fsuipc to try to cure my problem with Saitek controls losing calibration in FSX. I have tried turning off McAffee, and running the .exe as administrator, to no avail. Following install, all I get in FSX/Add-ons is a window labelled "FSUIPC Options and Settings. This has 2 tabs, "About & Logging. The About tab details the usual info about the programme, version etc. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong, and how I can remedy it. Apologies in advance if it turns out to be a stupid question.
