Sorry, but I have no idea what the MSFS control txt file you are referring to is - can you please explain? The Documents/FSUIPC7 folder should contain the FSUIPC7 documentation. One of the file in there will be the Controls List for MSFS Build 999.txt file if that is what you are referring to. However, note that this is created on-the-fly, once you have an aircraft loaded and ready-to-fly (or maybe once an active simconnect connection is established, which maybe earlier).

Yes, John, that was the file I was referring to. Now I have seen that it appeared in the folder. Unfortunately I don't find any EFIS commands.

  2. Yes, John. MSFS starts and after a while time the window of FSUIPC came up.

When I want to use FSUIPC for programming the buttons and switches of my GoFlight stuff, I discovered that I didn't find the MSFS control txt file in the Documents\FSUICP directory. Did I miss something?

  3. Thank you, Pete, for your prompt answer.

I feel a bit ashamed. I have thrown this question on the apropriate IVAO forum and someone suggested to contact you.

Now, I have discovered that something was not set in the IvApConfig file. Strange that nobody in the IVAO forum suggested that solution. it was probably too trivial.

    Anyway, it works now.

Sorry, having disturbing you and thanks again.

    Best regards

    Rob

  4. Hello Pete,

I have used Offset Byte Set for a switch to put transponder ON and STBY in IvAp.

They provide the following codes 0x7b91 0x00 for ON and 0x7b91 0x01 for STBY.

However, although it works well with pressing the key F11 (toggling) it gives no reaction using the programmed switch. Did I miss something?

    Thanks and best regards

  5. Hi

This is probably a stupid question but I did a search and didn't find any answer.

I had a GoFlight rotary switch (in GF RP48) that could easily increase or decrease the altimeter setting because it was programmable in the GoFlight program.

Now, I have a separate rotary switch (in GF-EFIS) which I want to program via "keys and buttons" in FSUIPC, but I don't find the command for increasing or decreasing the altimeter, nor in the FS list neither in Project Magenta list (I have PM MCP+EFIS).

    Did I miss something?

    Thanks in advance

    Rob

  6. Hi DK666,

I had also problems with my GF-TQ6 to calibrate it in FSUIPC.

Did you try to calibrate it directly in the game controllers?

(Start > Configuration settings (set classic view) > Game controllers > Properties - or something like that because I have the Dutch language version)

    Hope that helps

    Robert

  7. Well, Pete, meanwhile, I have tried a few other things such as putting the button command ...C2999,6 (corresponds to New ND modes - CTR pushbutton) in the FSUIPC.INI and believe it or not, it works! It toggles nicely between rose and arc. This means that the special MP commands still work fine. Thank you for that hint. So, I will not work further with KeySend.

    Best regards

  8. Thank you , Pete, for your prompt answer.

I appreciate very much your efforts for the FS community.

I didn't realize that the problem could reside in PM, and I will surely put it on the forum there.

The keyboard command for toggling between rose and arc on the ND screen is just "C". By emulating this command by KeySend I hoped to made it possible to toggle between arc and rose.

With the lower toolbar I mean that in using full window PDF-ND the toolbar with "start" and the running programs titels appear.

I will also try the other PM 2999 command and see what that gives.

    Thanks again

    Robert

  9. Hello Pete and other readers,

I use a GF-RP48 as an EFIS for my PM screen (PFD). This module is directly connected to the FS PC.

When I program one of the push buttons as "PM ND rose mode" it doesn't change my display from arc to rose, although all other button features like APT, VOR, NDB and WX work well. So, I tried to work that around by a KeySend1=67 (="C") in the client PC and configured the button as Keysend with parameter 1 in FSUIPC. When I push te button the lower toolbar appears in the PFD monitor (I use PFD in full screen mode) but nothing else happens. I have tried with the extention run1 (because PFD is started with run1), but it doesn't help. Pushing "C" on the keyboard of the client PC does the job well.

My question is: what the best solution for a button to toggle the PFD between arc and rose and why is none of the above ways working?

    Thanks

    Robert
