1. the FSUIPC.dll is V3.5 (see atteched file WideFS 2)
2. see the screenshot, whre it shows V 3.4.0 (see atteched file WideFS 3 in the next mail)
3. Firewalls on both PC´s are inaktive
4. there is no WideServer logfile
So what should I do?

1. sorry for my English (i+m from Austria and my English is´nt perfekt at all)
2. I have 2 PC
Server=psbrm
Client=travel-ps
Installation on Server:
FS2004
FSUIPC V 3.5.0.0 and registered (although there is shown V 3.40, when you open it in the FS Menu)
WideServer.dll V 6.5.0.0 and registered
WideServer.Ini
Installation on Client
WideClient.exe V 6.5.0.0
WideClient.Ini
You will see the logfile error
Error on client pre-Connection Select() [Error=10061] Connection refused
I hope you can help me

du hasat recht - Version der dll ist 3.5, aber im FS-Menü zeigt er immer noch Version 3.40 an (kann nicht von früher sein - habe FS erst seit kurzem.
das heisst mein problem liegt nicht an der Version sondern wo anders!
Fehlermeldung am WideClient:

1072Okay, IP Address = 192.168.135.109
1993 Error on client pre-Connection Select() [Error=10061] Connection refused

habe die downloads von der page http://www.shiratti.com
WideFS 6.5 und FSUIPC 3.5 heruntergeladen.
PROBLEM:
Die gedownloadete FSUIPC 3.5 ist nur Version 3.40 (vom 1.10.2004) - um aber WideFS nutzen zu können ist Version 3.44 notwendig.
Kannst Du mir bitte helfen - ich will FS Commander 7 auf einem 2. PC laufen lassen und mit FS 2004 syncronisieren.
Habe:
auf PC1 (Server) im FS Ordner
FSUIPC.dll, WideServer.dll und WideServer.ini
auf PC2 (client) in eigenem Ordner
WideClient.exe und WideClient.ini
und WideFS im FS 2004 registriert
es sollte also alles stimmen - vielleicht ist die zu alte FSUIPV Version schuld - aber woher bekomme ich die aktuelle, da der Download bei shiratti.com falsch ist?
hier noch das logfile vom WideClient:
1052 Attempting to connect now

Hi Pete,
I´m really sorry - you´re absolutly right.
I did´nt recogognize that "module" is a folder - I just thought module means folder - so I just did the dll´s in the wrong folder.
NOW IT WORKS
