  1. Hi Volker,

Followed your instructions but no joy. However I've found a workaround. Bit tortuous but ok.

    1. open fsc as admin

    2. build flight plan, save and export

    3. start weather programs and FSX

    4. connect FSC to FSX via WideFS, at this point if I open the nav window it hides behind the main FSC window.

    5. close FSC

    6. open FCS as admin and reload flight plan.

    7. connect to FSX, open the Nav window and it stays on top!!!

  2. Hi Pete, I'm not sure if my title is correct but my question is as follows: I have 2 x Saitek throttles and profiles set up for twin jets, 4 engine jets, twin turbo-props and single props. All works perfect with a registered version. Now I have just set up these throttles for twin jets, with 767 style flap, spolier and throttle levers. For turbo props I have purchased 2 x new Saitek throttles and want to be able to swap throttles over depending on what plane I want to fly. Is there a way to do this so that my "ini" file is not changed when I unplug and plug in new throttles? Paul Gardner

  3. Finally solved. FSC sits on a networked laptop, Win 7 64bit. Volker suggested looking at the firewall settings so I disabled the firewall (UAC set to 0) and still no go. Installed FSC on my FSX PC and all worked perfect so I decided to uninstall and then re-install on the laptop. Installed under C:\FSC and did not select "run as administrator". Now works perfect. Maybe there was a glitch in my update to V9.2, I don't know but anyway all is fine now.

  4. I have V9.2 with Win 7 64bit with program set to run as administrator. Weather file downloads ok, I assume it does as the progress bar loads to 100%. However I have all the boxes ticked, show weather, show wind arrow, symbol and metar but nothing shows up on the map?

    Any suggestions please

  5. I have a PC and laptop, Win 7 64bit, Ultimate and Home respectfully, connected via a network and the PC drives mapped. FSX is on the PC and FSC v9.2. is on the laptop, FSCDB works perfect on the laptop and I can correctly set the FSX and flightplan directories in FSCDB.

Now when I start up FSC and go to flight plan and paths my network drives do not list, only the local laptop drives. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

  6. That makes sense, unfortunately I have done a complete reinstall so my back-up data folder went when I did a reformat.

What is the best way to add the fixes to a plan - drag and drop from the map or by inputting into the table. If I use the table what is the correct format?

  7. I've had to reinstall FS9 and with it FSNav.

I've downloaded the latest airac (0513) ticked airways and with geographic fixes but after recompiling database I haven't got any oceanic fixes i.e. 4530N etc. I've searched the forum and tried various suggestions but still no success.

    Can anyone help please.

    Paul Gardner :(
