[Uninstalling Question]

Hello, I purchased FScene4X TwinPack #1 today and installed it, flew a couple of flights. Seems like a good product but is causing slower frame rates on my machine.

I was wanting to uninstall it but from what I've read, I may be out of luck.  I didn't make a backup, never installed anything I needed a back up of before, all I'd do is a recent system restore and that took care of it but not this time, I did a system restore from the other day but it didn't delete the desktop folder or contents for FScene4X. I can't tell if it reverted the actual files back to the originals or not.

I am running FSX Steam Edition, can you tell me if doing the system restore may have reverted the original files but left the desktop folder/contents or not?

Also, if it hasn't been restored, since FScene rewrites the original files, if I were to install another world scenery package, would it overwrite the original files that FScene modified? I'm not sure I would want to try another one since I don't have a top of the line machine, if one made it choppy, the others would probably do the same thing but thought I'd ask.

I know this topic has probably been covered but I couldn't see a search function to search for any previous posts so I apologize for posting it again.
