volkan-uk Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 i am designing a sim which is compatible with FS 2002 (i will upgade later), but how do you guys split the engine readings, and alt + airspeed indictors etc. into separte screens? i will problaby have two PCs on a network with 2 grafics cards in each, but how do you split the cockpit readings. thank you (i may mave more questions!)
warthog02 Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 The separate instrument displays that you see on the web are run on separate PC's on a LAN. They use WideFS as the interface between FS and the displays. The displays themselves are run on EFIS software such as Project Magenta (payware) or GFD (freeware). The link to GFD is: http://www.flightdecksoftware.com/ and to Project Magenta: http://www.projectmagenta.com/ warthog02
