Replacing a new fsuipc file with a older file

Hi

I have the older version of fsuipc 3.47 and in the process of isstalling version 3.50.

when I try to install ther dll for version 3.50 I get the following.

Replace file fsuipc dll 218kb 10/5/05 with fsuipc dll 222kb 8/30/05.

Is it ok to replace a newer file with a older file,I do not remember seeing this on the other versions.
