Keyboard keys configuration saving

Good morning,

I usually delete all standard FSX keyboard keys assignment, except just a few ones, to have as many keys as possible available for dedicated commands.

However, every now and then I need to rebuild my fsx.cfg which causes the standard keyboards keys assignments to be reoloaded. 

Is there a way to save a keyoboard keys assignment configuration to be permanently used ?

I knew such configuration was in the controls.xml file but I have tried to save it and used it after a fresh cfg rebuild but it does not work.

 On your "Settings" main page there is an option to save your current settings. Of course it saves ALL your settings, not just controls.
