DLCoates1
For those of you who may or may not have purchased the ERJ-135/145 series, and noticed it is not working for the steam edition, there is a solution!I have contacted support several times, each time they state you must install SP2, however the steam edition of FSX does contain service packs 1 and 2, as well as any other update. After speaking with them some more, they have finally stated that they have not tested the ERJ-135/145 series with the steam edition. This means that if you purchased it, and if you are having problems like I am having in the video below, then you wasted your money, right? Nope. Found the fix. You need to locate Steam\SteamApps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfacesFrom there, you need to click on each of the 3 folders, and run the SimConnect installer in all of them. It takes about 5 seconds for each. Hope this helps! Edited January 6, 2015 by Dylan Lee Coates
FeelThere_Vic
Thank you for the information. We just got a hold of the Steam version ourselves and we will see what is needed to make our birds work with Steam out from the box.

DLCoates1
Thank you for the information. We just got a hold of the Steam version ourselves and we will see what is needed to make our birds work with Steam out from the box. Looking forward to the update. Thanks, this worked for me, even cold and dark. Glad I could help. Although this info isn't new. I just tried it from Aerosoft forums, someone posted it there and it was pretty much buried for over a month with barely any views and no replies. Figured I would give it a go and it worked. cmain
That worked for me to a point, first I had no textures on the plane all together. I did as described above and the 2d panel works great along with the lights, and the pilots in the cockpit looking out, however everything else still has no textures. Please help I have reviewed many forums and read the manual maybe I missed something. I am running: Windows 8.1 8.00 GB ram 64 bit system Intel i7 quad core. FSX steam....
