Does FSUIPC fix Joystick problem

Hello,

For the past few weeks I have been affected by the joystick disconnecting problem, (on Win 8.1) I have tried all of the solutions such as; Power Manager, open task manager mid flight, go to full-screen etc...None have worked or been a permanent solution. I came across a few tutorials on Youtube, about how FSUIPC will fix the problem. Has anyone tried or fixed this problem using this?

I use FSX:SE Win 8.1
