  1. Success - I fully uninstalled FSUIPC and Wideclient from the FS and Client PC's, manually deleted remaining files, restarted both pc's, and did a clean reinstall. Now it connects! So happy now. Thanks again for all your help. Martin
  2. I guess it will have to stay a mystery for now. I tried the things shown in the attachments, changed the port numbers but no luck. I even fully uninstalled the anti-virus/firewall software from both the FS and Client PC's (I was going to buy new anti-virus software anyway). Still just "waiting for connection". I will try fully uninstalling FSUIPC and Wideclient with a clean reinstall. I will report if I get it going and will check back to see if there is anything else I can try. Appreciate your help, and I have learned a lot about the issue for future reference and for others who might look at this thread, so some benefit. Thank you. Martin
  3. I updated FSUIPC to version 7.4.15 but still no connection. The attached files were copied after the sim was closed. FSUIPC7.7z WideServer.log FSUIPC7.ini WideClient.ini WideClient.log
  4. I did not start a new log on purpose. Do not know why that happened. No, don't know how to explain the above. This time I ran Wideclient for 7 or 8 minutes without connecting. The attached files were copied while the sim was running. I cant copy the FSUIPC log because the file it too big apparently. Thanks again for your help. WideServer.log FSUIPC7(1).ini WideClient.ini WideClient.log
  5. Thank you for the reply. Files are attached. Workgroup names are the same. I added the ServerName (tried both the name and IP address), and Protocol (tried TCP and UDP) to the Wideclient.ini file. Tried with antivirus and firewalls disabled. Rebooted both PC's several times. Still getting "Waiting for Connection". Hope you can see something in the files. Thanks for your help. Martin FSUIPC7.1.log FSUIPC7.ini WideClient.ini WideClient.log
  6. Hello. I have been using Wideclient on a remote PC for several years without difficulty, Now it will not connect. I have reinstalled Wideclient on the remote PC but still does not connect. Just says "waiting for connection". Widefs is enabled in FSUIPC. Log files attached. Windows 10/64 and MSFS. I have had a few issues lately with the sim and addons and have probably done something stupid to disable Widefs. Thanks for any help. Martin
  7. John, thank you very much. I appreciate your help. I have made the changes and you have given me some good ideas to help me move forward. I will carry on and report later so you can put this aside for now. I do actually read the manual but admit that I find the manual a bit difficult to follow at times. But I will study it further now that I have a better idea of what I am doing. Thanks again. Martin
  8. Good morning. I recently purchased MSFS 2020, Aeorsoft's CRJ for MSFS and FSUIPC7. I have had no success in setting up the Bravo buttons and switches via FSUIPC7. FSUIPC7 will take the assignment of a control to a switch or button, but the switch or button will not activate the respective control in the CRJ. I have read forum content and made some changes to the .ini file as suggested but no change. A copy of the .ini file is attached. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Martin fsuipc7.ini
  9. First, let me say that when posting my issue I was hoping there was a simple fix - I certainly did not intent for this to be a big time consumer when everyone is so busy. So many thanks to everyone. I reinstalled version 6.1.1 as suggested and while this resulted in v6.1.1 showing as the installed version, the macros still were still not available in FSUIPC buttons. Then I uninstalled FSUIPC via Windows control panel (instead of letting the FSUIPC install process remove the previous version), reinstalled 6.1.1 and now everything is back to as before, that is the axis assignments, and button assignments including the macros. So, back to normal and thanks again for all the time spent and help. Martin
  10. Ok, there are three log files and all 3 are attached with the install file. I also reinstalled FSUIPC 6.1.1 just now but the .ini file (attached) is still showing version 6.008. My previous version of FSUIPC was 6.0.8. I have a screenshot of the FSUIPC opening page in version 6.0.8 but I am not sure if I should post it here. I will if it helps. All the Macros were available entries before the install of 6.1.1. I should also say that I am not using all of the macros and I don't have a problem rebuilding the ones I use if you don't want to look into this any further. Martin FSUIPC6.1.log FSUIPC6.2.log FSUIPC6(1).ini InstallFSUIPC6.log FSUIPC6.log
  11. The .ini file contained the macros after the 6.1.1 was installed. I did not copy anything over myself. The following files are contained within the Modules folder, but outside of the .ini file. Hope this is what you asked about. None of the macros appear when trying to assign a button with "Select FS Control". In the previous FSUIPC version, all of the macros came up under Axis Assignment and Buttons and Switches. Appreciate your help. 12. Thanks for the reply, and again, sorry for posting in the wrong place. The .ini file is attached. Martin FSUIPC6.ini
  13. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question. I have downloaded and installed FSUIPC 6.1.1. I have a number of mouse macros created in my previous version of FSUIPC that appear in the .ini file (after install of 6.1.1) but do not show up when trying to assign buttons. Aircraft profile is checked. Am using P3D v 5.1. Thanks for any help. Martin
  14. First of all, I apologize for not supplying more information. I guess I do not see my issue as a problem, just asking if there is a way to assign a key or button in FSUIPC to return the elevator to centre. I should have provided more info regardless, and here it is - FSUIPC registered version 5.15 Nov 2018, P3D v 4.5 and the aircraft is Aerosoft's Twin Otter Extended. I can input the values outlined in red in your example, but I can't change the Offset or Parameter values on the right side of the input page to change to the values shown. I really don't know what I am doing and would really appreciate a bit more instruction. Thank you for your prompt reply and help. Martin
  15. I saw in an earlier forum topic that a key or button can be set to bring the elevator back to centre by assigning the key or button to "Elevator Trim Set" and the parameter to 0. I have tried this with elevator trim set and elevator set but neither control has any effect on the position of the elevator. Is there something else I need to do as well? Thank you for any suggestions. Martin
