  1. That fixed it, thanks. It was the fact that I had not installed my FSUIPC yet.
  2. I just installed and registered my FSUIPC...I shut down my FSC9 and restarted it, but it didn't work. I'm wondering if I have to restart my FS.
  3. Rev 1, FSX, same pc, unregistered...I have to go get the info to register it, but I did have it registered on the other machine.
  4. I just got a new computer, and I have installed FSC 9 and successfully registered it. However, when I try to connect the GPS, I get an error window with the message: Unable to connect to Flight Simulator! Msg # (no process response) What do I need to do?
  5. Thanks, I'll look for it on the PMDG forum, should have done that instead of posting here...silly me.
  6. Well, I have flown a few longer flights with aircraft which are not PMDG, and I don't get the freezing issues. What about PMDG is it that causes it and what can I do to correct it?
  7. Sorry, I have 4.60a for FSUIPC. I did not change the time on the the report. I have been flying only PMDG aircraft, latest is the MD11. But this started happening about a month ago and I just attributed it to the version of Flightsim Commander and that I had not updated that for a long time. Lately, I have been trying something different. I was watching web videos while I was flying, but have stopped doing that. It seems to me that if I only run FS Flight Tracker, FSC, Outlook and firefox (no farmville or any other game that requires lots of pc time...lol) I have not encountered the delays 'as much'...since changing that behavior, I have had only one instance of pausing and one hard crash of the FS. Before this, I usually would expect at the very least a hard crash of FS or the pausing of my flight in FSC...or both.
  8. I have the latest version of FSUIPC, and SP2 for FSX. I use only two programs externally that use the simconnect. FS Flight tracker and FS Commander. FS flight tracker is 9.5.1 and FS commander is version 9. I am using windows XP on a core 2 duo processor with 3GB of RAM. If you need more than that, let me know. Todd
  9. I have been having some difficulties, thinking they were with FS Commander. The online portion where you track your flight with the FSC window, freezes somewhere into the flight. I have discovered that the FSUIPC menu disappears at that time as well. I opened the FSUIPC4 log and discovered that the communication with my FSX is failing. 8267735 **** No SimConnect events or states being received! 10. Ok, I purchased the FSX version and entered the code and it says it is not a valid code.
  11. I purchased FSUIPC for FS9. I know I can use it in evaluation mode for FSX, but I would prefer to have the full version. Do I need to purchase it again for FSX? The registration code will not work from my previous purchase...so what do I do?
  12. Well, as far as a user's guide goes, I have no idea where it is. Although, I finally figured it out with your help...somewhat. I mapped the throttle to the four throttles then I set the #1 throttle with an idle point and I finally got my reverser where I want it to be. Thanks.
  13. The numbers in which page of the Calibrations don't change? If you have a single throttle lever assigned through FS to the single all-engine throttle, then the place to look is page 1 of the Calibrations, along with ailerons, elevators and rudder. Pete Now I have a new problem...or maybe the same one, I don't know. I go to the first page and I can get all the numbers to move. But on the throttle page, where you set the reversers, I do not see the numbers moving. I managed to get the reversers to work once, but they were opening way too soon on the throttle arc. When I went to reset it and try again, nothing...no movement.
  14. I think I have found the problem. I haven't tested it yet, but there isn't a locked=1 in the cfg file. I'll let you know.
  15. I found the user guide. But I see the problem. When I move the throttle, the numbers do not change. What do I need to do to get that to work?
  16. Where can I find the user guide? I do have a registered copy of FSUIPC.
  17. I was able to do this before, but for some reason I can't get it to work now. How do I set up my yoke throttle to give me a thrust reverser when I bring it back past a certain point?
  18. This time I actually read the manual... I got it to work now without trouble, finally.
  19. My throttle works fine in FS. That is not the problem. The value window that displays the throttle position changed when I first opened and tried to set the thrust reverser value, when I made the mistake and tried to redo it, those values now remain fixed. When I press the set buttons I get zeros and nothing else. That was basically what I was looking for, I did not know how to start it over from scratch. One problem, I do not see an FSUIPC.INI file in the modules directory, where do I find it? Thanks.
  20. There is a setting that allows you to set the throttle at a point where when you bring it back, it will operate the thrust reversers. I set this up the last time I installed FSUIPC and it worked fine. Now, I made a mistake in setting it up. When I first started the throttle settings moved when I moved the throttle...now that I try to set it up again they remain stationary and the set buttons for idle and reverser both go to '0' Like I said, it worked for me the last time I set up FSUIPC. I also noticed that time that if I wanted to reset the throttle position for reverser it would not allow me to that time either.
  21. I just got a new computer. I had to reinstall my FSUIPC and tried to set my thrust reversers. I made a mistake and tried to correct the problem. Now my throttle position won't even register and when I set the 'set' buttons, they both set to zero. How do I get FSUIPC to give me another try at setting my reversers? I am using a Microsoft Sidewinder Pro stick for my hardware. I have FS2004, a 3.2 Ghz machine with XP Pro SP2 BFG6800oc video card and 1 GB Ram.
