  1. Thanks, that did the trick. It's working now. I also discovered that saving the webpage with the PACOT-Tracks works best when FSCommander is closed. Because if you try to do this while FSCommander is running, the program locks up sometimes (this doesn't happen when downlading the NAT-Tracks). Jon
  2. I have a problem with downloading the PACOT-Tracks. Downloading the NAT-Tracks is working fine however. First some details: 1. I'm using FS2004. 2. FSCommander version 8.4 Build 110908. 3. I'm using the download version. 4. My operating system is Windows XP. 5. I'm using Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11 What I do is I select "Download PACOT Track" from the "Tracks" menu. This brings me to the following page: https://www.notams.jcs.mil/dinsQueryWeb/ On this page I select Pacific Tracks. This brings me to the page: https://www.notams.jcs.mil/dinsQueryWebpAction.do Then I save the entire page using the default name: "Defense Internet NOTAM Service" in the FSC\Database folder. In the second drop down box that says "Save As", I choose "Webpage, complete" (in my browser this is translated into Dutch). Whenever I try to display the tracks in FSCommander, I get the error message: "Error reading in Pacot file! Download the file again!". I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here. Jon
  3. I think I'm just going to use the "traffic zapper" option. That should work fine too in case of an AI-plane trying to mess up my flight. What you explained earlier is a bit too difficult for me. One last question. Right now I'm using FSUIPC 3.65, and I would like to download the most recent version (3.80). Do I have to buy FSUIPC again, or can I just download the new version and install it over the "old" one? Jon
  4. I've never had to turn collision detection off. If you cannot avoid other aircraft then maybe you need to reduce your taxi speed somewhat? It seems pointless having the realism of other traffic on the airport if you are allowed to drive straight through them! ;-) Regards Pete The problem isn't the taxi speed, but the way AI-traffic and ATC works. If you're taxiing a PMDG 747 with a wide wingspan around an airport, and suddenly an AI-plane decides to start a pushback just when you're passing behind him, it can happen that your wings get in contact with the AI-plane, which will result in a crash. Or if you're told by ATC to taxi to a certain gate, and the gate next to you is occupied by an AI-plane, there's also the possibility of wing contact, resulting in a crash. So, the problem is not the way I'm taxiing, but rather the way how AI-traffic behaves! That's why I thought if there's a quick way to enable/disable the "collision setting" through FSUIPC during a flight, then why not use it. Thanks for your answer anyway. Jon PS: I'm also a big fan of realism, but FS just has it's limitations.
  5. I don't know if this is possible, but is there an option in FSUIPC to map the setting "Allow collision with other aircraft" to a certain keypress, which can then be mapped to a joystick button? The reason I'm asking this is because sometimes is not practical to have the collision detection on (e.g. when taxiing around airports). If there's a way to quickly enable/disable this setting through a keypress/joystick button using FSUIPC, then you don't have to go through the menus to enable/disble the setting "Allow collision with other aircraft". I'm using FSUIPC for FS2004. Jon
  6. Before I purchased the addon airplane, I asked the producer if it was compatible with GoFlight hardware. They assured me it was. They told me, that if I used the registered version of FSUIPC, I could map the keys to the switches. But not every light in FS can be controlled by a keypress (not even in the default 737-400).
  7. Yes, I have tried it with the default 737-400. I've used all of my GoFlight hardware with the default 737-400 (The autopilot, radiopanels, landinggear and the toggle switch module) with no problems. I programmed every switch and button with the software provided by GoFlight. The problem is that I have moved over to an addon airplane (Wilco's 737 Pilot in Command). And now I want to use the GoFlight hardware with this plane. All of the GoFlight hardware works great with this addon (even without assigning anything with FSUIPC) except for the GF-T8 module. :( The problem is, that there are no key assignment to control the lights with this addon. If there were, the problem would have been sovled.
  8. This is what I have in the FSUIPC-config: [buttons] 1=P109,2,C66059,0 2=P109,5,K76,9 3=U109,5,K76,9 4=P109,1,C66379,66379 5=U109,2,C66060,0 6=P109,4,C66240,0 [buttons.FeelThere Boeing 737-400 House Full] 0=P109,5,C66056,0 2=P109,0,C66052,0 4=P109,1,C66379,66379 6=P109,3,C66239,66239 7=P149,17,C65880,0 8=P149,16,C65880,0 9=P109,2,C66059,0 10=U109,2,C66060,0 What should I change?
  9. Too bad. Nothing worked. I did exactly what you told me. I deleted all keyboard assignments for the lights in FS, and set up FSUIPC according to your screenshot, but the lights still don't work. :( The green LED's of the GF-T8 don't even work. For example, if I toggle a switch, the taxilights of the airplane come on very briefly (like half a second), and then they go off again. I have no idea how to make it work.
  10. No. I do not have a key assignment in FS for the taxilights for example, and even without a key assignment, nothing happens. I do have some key assignments in FS for the lights, but not for all, because you cannot control every light in FS with a keyboard command. I did manage to map the key press SHIFT+L (panel lights) to a switch on the GF-T8, but none of the other switches work.
  11. Hi, I have a problem using the Goflight GF-T8 (toggle switch module) with Wilco 737 Pilot in Command. I'm using the registered version of FSUIPC (3.60). I would like to use the following switches of the GF-T8 module for the following commands: 1st switch: strobe lights 2nd switch: nav lights 3rd switch: landing lights 4th switch: beacon lights 5th switch: taxi lights 6th switch: panel lights 7th switch: de-ice struct 8th switch: pitot heat I have deleted any assignments from GFConfig for the GF-T8. FSUIPC does recognise the switches, but when I select a FS control (on the tab "Buttons + switches") for any of the switches, nothing happens. I already tried the setting "Aircraft specific", but this does not make any difference. Can anyone help me, because I have no clue how to make the switches work :(
