  1. Pete, Thanks for the prompt reply. I understand. It is difficult to estimate what to charge when you don't know what you have to do. Of course, I was in software development managemant for almost thirty years and I knew a bunch of people who would quote prices regardless of the circumstances!! From my experience, I have no doubt that what you propose will be fair. However, under the circumstances, I think I will wait a while before I pay for a registration key. I guess I am just too frugal, being a child of the depression. This may have something to do with the fact that my wife and I are quite comfortable (far from rich!). If we weren't frugal we might have more problems than we have now!! Regards... Tom
  2. Pete, I am an OLD time user of FSUIPC (as long as it has existed!). Of course, I was always using the free version and you weren't charging at that time. I am an old guy (75) and also a recovering Cancer patient, so for the last year or so I've not used FS much, if at all. My interests have been renewed now that I am feeling better (Cancer free for almost two years!!). I found out there was a new version of your module as well as an FS patch to 9.1. I also found out it was essential for me to get your new version to run with my FS setup. I downloaded your new module, installed it according to directions and the V9.1 now runs very well. Now I am in a quandry. I would like the extra functions that are available upon registration and the price is ceertainly reasonable. I am not sure if I need WideFS or not, but I certainly want to have all of the bells and whistles in FSUIPC back, agian. However, in a few months MS is supposed to release the new version of FS. Of course, based on past MS schedules, holiday season 2006 may turn out to be holiday season 2007!! None the less, I hate to pay for a version and find that within a few months I must pay for a NEW version to run with FSX. Is there going to be an upgrade path or should I wait and see? Any information will be appreciated... Regards... Tom
