Hi John
just had a remote session with the customer where I made some screenshots and copied various log files. The problem seems to relate to SimConnect, at least that is what the FSUIPC log file is saying.
The P3D version is 4.1.7.22841
After installing FSUIPC version 6.1.6 I started P3D and confirmed that the FSUIPC6 add-on shall be enabled.
When clicking on "Yes" the message:
"This version of Prepar3D is not supported by this version of FSUIPC! Use at your own risk"
was displayed. Clicking on "OK" the next message pops up:
"Memory problems detected! Operations restricted"
And then the "Prepar3D exe has stopped working".
I then ran all the different SimConnect.msi (except of course the FSX-RTM-JPM and the FSX-SP1-RUS versions), but the problem persisted.
I cannot figure out how this can happen after just a change of the mainboard batteries, and most probably this has nothing to do with FSUIPC but with Simconnect, thus this would be the wrong place for this topic. But maybe you have come across a similar issue and may have a hint?
The documents attached are some of the log files created on the computer (there are more, but due to size limitations I could not add them here).
Thanks a lot and kind regards
Peter
