Ok, I understood now, yes, it does, but to be honest I installed asx before I had the need to install FSUIPC. I had to install FSUIPC because of the Wilco Citation X addon. Yesterday, by chance I was reading ASX's instructions again, and there's a point regarding installations with or without FSUIPC. Ok, I think it's alright now, I changed scope from local to global and it seems to be ok now . Thank you very much for your help :) Regards Bruno

Dear Pete, thank you very much for your quick reply :) I have reinstalled FSUIPC but the problem persists, could you be so kind as to explain to me what I need to edit in the SimConnect.xml file. Actually, all local stuff will work fine if you simply delete it. Quite honestly I don't understand how you have got it into such a mixed mess. Is this from following ASX instructions? Does it actually work with ASX? Because it shouldn't. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> SimConnect SimConnect.xml False False IPv4 local <<<<<< change "local" to "global" BRUNO-PC 64 500 4096 False Just change the local to global THEN reinstall FSUIPC4, which will add a correct local section. The section you have doesn't appear to be a valid section at all. Don't forget to delete the interim 4.116 DLL before re-installing 4.11. You can put it back afterwards. I'd appreciate it if you'd feed back something about this mess to ASX support so they can fix their documentation, if that is indeed where you got this from. It looks like I will have to add something to the FSUIPC instructions. My installer tries to fix the SimConnect.xml, but it is hard to think of all the possible ways it can be wrong! Regards Pete

Hi all I'm trying to get FSUIPC to start, but so far it has proven impossible I've read all the posts related to this error, reinstalled sdk sp1, simconnect, done the repair thing, but it still doesn't work.
