  1. Hi John, thanks a lot for the quick and comprehensive reply! Only P3D OR MSFS will ever run on their own at a given point, so no issue there. That's good news about a single WideFS license. It "feels" cleaner to have separate installs, so that's the way that I will probably go. Thanks for the pointer to the trial license, I will give it a go regards Dave
  2. Prospective new user - licensing question . . . Hi, I am about to install a system which will have P3D5 and MSFS2020 installed on the same PC, only one will be running at any given time. As I understand it, there are separate verions of FSUIPC required for the different programs, but I assume that there will be no issues running two instances on the same machine where one is configured for P3D and the other for MSFS? I think that I will need WIDEFS to provide network connectivity. Below the images on the www.fsuipc.com web page, the test says "WideFS7 for FSX, P3D and MSFS". However, the WIDEFS page suggests that it is only for P3D? Under requirements :- "Any one or more of FSX, P3D V3.x, P3D V4.x and FSUIPC4 (or FSUIPC5 for P3D4.x) WideFS7 IS ONLY FOR FSX and P3D" Does it support P3D Version 5 as well as MS2020/2024? If so, can a single copy support both programs when running on one machine, or is a separate install (and license) required for each program? regards Dave
