  1. Thanks Pete, Yes, I've used ident 420 as parameter but it only opens and doesn't close when I press the button again. Never mind though, I've found a way to do it using a mouse macro. regards Martin
  2. Hi, I don't know if this can be done : I'm trying to toggle the 2D right CDU in my PMDG 737NGX by assigning a button to Panel id toggle or panel toggle (what's the difference?) It opens all right but doesn't close again so no toggle. This panel has no keyboard shortcut like the other panels but can be toggled from the "view" menu in FSX. Is there a way to do this ? regards Martin
  3. Hi, It's a few months ago but I have one question : according to my information (I could be wrong!) the lever is only off in flight. So the control for "off" should only activate when releasing from the "up" position. Or not? Martin
  4. Thanks for your time and effort Pete. I already reinstalled the PMDG twice so it could indeed be in my copy. I'll submit a ticket to PMDG. Martin
  5. Here's the information from the event viewer : Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: PMDG_737NGX.DLL, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4f5162a3 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00016c30 Faulting process id: 0x84c Faulting application start time: 0x01cfba36ffc1c6de Faulting application path: D:\FSX\fsx.exe Faulting module path: D:\FSX\GAUGES\PMDG_737NGX.DLL Report Id: 450896c6-262a-11e4-b169-74d435e52476 I can't create a new flight with the 737NGX : when I choose the airport, the gate or parking, the PMDG aircraft and press fly now, FSX crashes after 3 % I can create one with the default ultralight, change to the NGX and fly. After saving the same crashes occur. However when i delete the FSUIPC.ini everything works as it should.
  6. Deleted both KTNT.wx and WXstationlist.bin Tried loading the saved KTNT flight : FSX crashed at 3% Martin

  9. For three weeks I've been trying to get my FSX on my new pc to work with PMDG 737NGX. I could not load a PMDG aircraft without FSX crashing after 3 % loading. There's nothing else installed : just FSX (with acceleration) and the PMDG 737NGX. I could load the default trike and switch to the NGX , save it, end the flight, try to load it : crash I had a lot of hardware connected which I removed : all was well. I then enabled all hardware one by one and still everything kept working : I could build a flight, save it, restart the computer and load it again : great. I tried again without changing anything a few days later : at 3 % loading : crash. I followed the AVSIM crash guide which led me to the point of disabling modules and see if any of these would be the culprit. Lo and behold : I disabled the FSUIPC module and everything worked. I deleted the FSUIPC.ini and everything worked. I then pasted the key assignments from the saved FSUIPC.ini in the new one and FSX crashed again. My question : is it really the key assignments that's crashing my pc ? I somehow suspect it's something to do with dodgy add-on hardware in wich case I'm out of my depth. I hope Pete or someone can point me in the right direction. cheers Martin
  10. Ok, thanks Pete for pointing me in the right direction. As far as I know I have nothing requiring Simconnect but I'll investigate.
  11. Today I tried to do a flight with the PMDG 737NGX after updating FSUIPC to the latest version but suffered 4 times a program crash (not responding) each time FSX came back up after about 10 minutes. 12. Hi, I recently finished a little throttle console with some switches to use with the PMDG 737, I assigned the switches to the offsets for engine start and parking brake through the OC USB-keys card and FSUIPC, everything worked flawlessly. The other day, however, I tried to start a flight and was unable to set the parking brakes ! Not with the assigned switch, not by mouse-clicking on the parking brake, not by using the key combination ctrl ., nothing moved the parking brake. What I noticed however was on another networked computer where active sky and some other applications run through WideFS my parking brake switch, only connected to the FS computer, was changing the tabs in Firefox !! I tried disconnecting everything and although the strange behaviour in Firefox stopped, I still could not move the parking brake. Tried restarting FS, reloading different airplanes, nothing. I hope somebody can give me some explanation as to what could cause this strange behaviour. regards Martin
  13. Thank you guys, I already contacted the Saitek distributor and they told me to send my yoke and throttle back to them for replacement. Pretty decent since I didn't have the receipt anymore nor the box it came in. cheers Martin
  14. Hi, I suspect this is a hardware issue, but I have to rule everything out: On my Saitek Pro Flight Throttle I have all axes mapped through FSUIPC and it worked fine up till a few days ago. Now one of the axes gives the following values : it starts at 16383 and goes down till 0 halfway but then shoots back up to 16383 and ends at 6016. The numbers never turn negative.I can calibrate all I want (b.t.w. the option to calibrate under windows has disappeared from the game controller applet, is this normal ?) Do I have to buy a new throttle or is there a setting I have overlooked ? Thanks for your help Martin
