  1. ok, thanks for the help. FlyTampa, AOG and everybody else just e-mailed me a link once I made proof of purchase. I now know why I use FSGenesis for mesh and just really never got into the texture side of things. No problem, I will just go somewhere else.

  2. Hello,

Ruud, I have a question that pertains to confidential ordering information. I have an order number in which I ordered off of Simmarket the Europe Fall/Winter/Summer/Spring textures. The download link has been deactivated due to time restraints, but I have had a hard drive failure and I am trying to recover my files.

Is it possible to regain access to the file either from Simmarket or directly from you, the vendor.

    Order Number: UN7193

Also, will the new downloads have the updates or will I need to get the updates? I don't think I am regestered on your site.

    Thanks

  3. Hey just some tips here:

Tips for the new ACL build:

    1. Have airline pulldown list

    2. Ability to enter flight number AND registration information

    3. Flt Plan Route field

    - this information would then be entered into the ACL report and kneeboard.

I manually enter this information into the kneeboard on top of your acl information. I thought it would be nice to have it all inserted automatically.

  4. Let's talk PSS loadedit verses ACL on the big birds...shall we? 8)

I am currently enroute, with about 800nm left in flight to go, on SQ20 - Singapore Airlines Flight 20; the longest current real life carrier flight in the world with passengers. It is done with a A340-500 in real life. Since there are NO A345s in simulation now (Scott I had you make that file for nothing I guess, but somebody IS working on one. I thought there was one by Aerodesigns when I asked). So, I used the PSS A340-300.

I don't think I could have loaded it successfully with the PSS LE program and had any fuel left over without dumping all of my passengers and cargo.

With all that weight in fuel I was still able to fill out all twelve seats in first class, which are the new "bed-seats" that take up so much room. One seat in real life in first class is anywhere from $5k to $10k on this flight.

Now, performance: originally with loading with the PSS LE the bird would rotate and then kinda "belly flop" to 10k ft. Now, she glides to 10k feet. I guess its the loading positions.

I am not only getting more nmiles, I am getting better performance!

    Good job Scott!

  5. IFDG just released the A321-200 series! We only have the 100 in our styles menu for ACL. Is it a big difference? I have actually loaded a bird twice with no noticible problems. But, I don't know if you would like to make a file for it.

  7. Hey Josef,

Many people, believe it or not, still activly use 2k2. I don't even own a copy of 2k4 and I don't intend on buying one. I have hundreds of hours just in my ai traffic. My installation is over 20 gb. It would take me months to recreate that in fs9 so it isn't worth it to me.

Are you going to continue to support 2k2?

    Thanks

  8. I am currently in the sim over China going from VHHH to KORD with another United bird right now. However, I too have been waiting a good while for the AFCAD. I didn't do one myself because I figured somebody else would pop one out.

When I get on the ground tonight I will do a good single layer AFCAD if it isn't too late. If it is too late, I will do it tomorrow. Somebody has to "jump" here and I feel froggy so I will do the jumping.

Give me 24 hours, that is all I ask and you will have a high quality AFCAD. After I finish the single layer I will proceed to make a two or three layer (whichever is necessary) that will pump up the traffic a little better.

I have found myself frustrated by this too. I know people are busy with their real lifes, but if your going to turn out scenery for prices like this AFCADs should be with the initial release. Most of the payware scenery I have bought on CDs comes with charts too. That would be a nice one as well :)

    Until tomorrow...

  9. Hey folks,

This is something that has plauged many FS2k2 users since the software was released.

If you enter the greater NY City area and get a couple warnings saying there is some scenery not found here may lie the problem.

    http://www.fsgateway.com/tips_read.asp?id=216

It seems that the Giants Stadium doesn't display correctly and this fix will fix the problem. Works great with my computer and it just a simple exclude switch to install into the scenery.cfg.

  10. Yes yes yes. This would be great. In United Virtual Airlines (http://virtual.united.com) we have many, many pilots who are not even interested in 2k4, including most of the staff. The COO and myself haven't even purchased 2k4 and I will prolly be waiting for 2k6.

I started working on an AFCAD and realized I had limited time on my hands and scrapped it early on. If I need to I can do one and upload it around Teusday or Wednesday.

The AI question is even a better problem to discuss, I can't believe there isn't any PAI or anything like that for AI traffic. But, your right...there isn't.

    Thanks for bringing this up.
