  1. o.k., i tried again. i deleted all axes in flight sim so that no duplictaes exist and chose not to enable the ch controllers through fs-x. when assigning axes in fsuipc i chose to send direct to fsuipc. i ran the control manager as described and made all the settings as seen in the attachment. and still #1 throttle ranges from full reverse to idle and mix is all messed up too. i am starting to get really frustrated. paid a ton of cash for all this hardware and software and now it is collecting dust and i am not flight simming at all.
  2. Hi I posted a while back about problems with the yoke, rudder, and throttle setup using FSUIPC. I gave up for a while, and focused on real world flying but I am still determined to resolve my issues. I use Flight Simulator X and v4.26 of FSUIPC. For the setup of my controls I referred to John Cook's Instructions set v1.10. Instead of programming the BE200 as described in his example I picked the default BE350 figuring it would be the closest thing. I followed exact step by step instructions and encountered two problems. For one even after calibrating the throttles I cannot get the engines to go into reverse, and secondly I am unable to calibrate mixture because under the 'Joystick Calibration' tab no movement of the axes is noted, despite recognition of movement as 'Mixture 2' under the 'Axis Assignment' tab. I believe the reverse problem may have something to do with 'range' detection. I noticed that the 'IN' and 'OUT' values do not change once the throttle goes down into idle and past. They seem to stop at the detent allowing for a range between idle and max only. As for the mixture problem I have no idea. After the axis assignment and not being able to calibrate mixture I exited FSUIPC and checked my controls on the aircraft. Throttle 1&2 and Prop 1&2 work as programmed aside from the reverse issue, but Mixture 1 does nothing until it comes all the way back. Then, ironically enough, instead of changing Mixture 1 it brings #1 into reverse. Mixture 2 does nothing at all. Any ideas anybody? I would sure appreciate it! John
