Hi I have been trying to map commands, using FSX, FSUCPI and PMDG 747 Setting autopilot disconnect, assiging keys in PMDG interface, example ctrl alt 4, go to FSUCPI and under buttons set saitek button on my yoke and assign the keys, return to FSX to test nothing happens. Also tried with TOGO, set key command in PMDG, set in FSUCPI i.e. joystick no 4 button does nothing. FSUCPI knows both yoke button and key commands, I am lost help me... Is it PMDG or FSUCPI or me ???? Rgds Paul

thanks for your reply peter. Yeah the page file in windows is around 2.2gb, and my 4gig of mem, which xp reads as 3gig, has 95000 left. So when it closes it takes a while for it to finish, I do have the following addons, PMDG747, Radar contact, mytraffic x, Your program+fswide reged , and FSmeteo. FSX is a mem hog, and uses huge resources. Is there anything I can do to resolve the problem??? Its really a pain resetting these buttons/switches everytime, it doesnt reset anything else the scenery, traffic etc all stay as they were, so does all the control surfaces, weird hey!! Its such a shame, FSX is so good when it works well, but when its bad its bad. any advice is welcome. :?

Hi My FSX isnt saving any of my buttons I program to my saitek yoke or double throttle quad, in FSX, reverts back to original. I remove keystrokes and it puts them back, same with the rudder pedals. I haven't installed any drivers for saitek but xp did find some. Any advice guys??? could fsucpi help me out of this ??? Rgds Paul

yeah its weird, I can fly from EGLL to KLAX be within 20nm of the arrival ap, plane drops........ I have now tested it after reinstall, rebuild of my pc, and so far seems very solid. I am quite sure it was either my machine being unstable, or my saitek equipment sending out the wrong signal. Thanks for the advice, I dont fly online at all,

no I think its my machine, I flashd the bios, and since then its sucked. Stuck new board in lastnight, it seems, good now. All working again :) many thanks

Hi Guys I have been using PMDG747 without a problem, reinstalled my machine, config FS, didnt use fsuipc, repaired fsx and accelerator, but made no difference, the plane flew lastnight from egll to klax, no probs, left it running all night on test. Just now flew it back from KLAX within 200nm of egll it went crazy. The plane will descend on its own heavily, and I cannot stop it, the yoke does nothing, in the module it would appear that all controls are working fine, but on the sim when I pull back it sinks, and when pushing forward it levels but still descends!!! Do you think its the saitek yoke had it??? Or is something else amis ??? Rgds Paul (please help)
