  1. Hello, I am not sure if this is a silly question which follows, but here goes. I have made a graphical Java application (an MD-80 PFD) interfacing with FS via the Java API from the FSUIPC SDK. The Java API was originally contributed to the FSUIPC SDK by Mark Burton, and when compiled it consists of the two files fsuipc.jar and fsuipc_java.dll. Now I am in the situation that I would like to make my own application available as freeware to the public, but I am not sure whether I am allowed to include these two required files in my own package for distribution? In the SDK it is stated that Mark Burton is the copyright holder of the Java API, but not if anyone is free to redistribute it. I would guess so since the FSUIPC SDK as a whole is freely available, but on the other hand I am not sure since I can not refer to any written notice describing under which terms I am allowed to redistribute the files. I have tried to contact Mark Burton via the mail address provided in the FSUIPC Java SDK documentation, but the address is no longer valid. So now my question is: Can I distribute these two files in my own package along with the application that I built on top of them? Best regards, Frank Sorensen
