  1. I turned off both firewalls on both computers and wideserver (Flight simulator) was started.
  2. Thought I would add these logs ********* WideClient Log [version 6.987] Class=FS98MAIN ********* Date (dmy): 09/12/12, Time 14:01:44.046: Client name is TAYLOR-1 9750 Attempting to connect now 9813 Trying TCP/IP host "Taylor-1" port 8002 ... 9813 ... Would having windows 7 on the server computer resolve the problem? Tim
  3. I am havibg trouble communicating with my other computer using WideFS and linking to FS9. Client computer is windows XP and FS computer is windows7
  4. and/or write something in Wide Client software to link it to FSX on my other computer? I did write "Run=C:\Program files\Aerosoft\FSC\FSC.exe" The link doesn't work by the way. Thought I would clarify my words
  5. I used an icon "Wide FS" for my FS9 startup before lanching FSC, The icon for FSX is the same thing, only labled FSX underneath. Do I need to change the icon and/or write something in Wide Client software to FSX on my other computer? I did write "Run=C:\Program files\Aerosoft\FSC\FSC.exe" It doesn't work by the way. Thanks Tim
  6. This morning when I started my craft I noticed no steering. I looked at the rudder and it moved only slightly. I tried to recalibrate with FSUIPC but still the same minimal movement Tim
  7. H. I am trying to calibrate reverse thrust. when I move the handle from full forward to idle there is a number change. when I pull the throttle into where reversers are there is no number registering. (a dead zone) any way of wiping out the memory in FSUIPC as far as the throttle quadrent is concerned so I can start over again? Thanks Tim
  8. 1. When the craft is powered up, The elevators and aelerons are fully turned to one side and not centered untel I move my flight yoke 2. when I taxi and make the takeoff run, my plane wants to go to the right slightly. when I try to compensate with my rudder pedels, I look like a drunken horse. (actually my aircraft, I look o.k.) 3. Any way of de-sensitising the rudder pedels? any little push with my feet over corrects. Thanks Tim
  9. I have Saitek rudder pedels (USB) I never got it to work and now I have a new problem. The rudder itself is turned to the right and no pedel push will move it. Could you tell me the page number for the manual so I can calibrate the rudders. Tim
  10. When i press te right ruder pedal the movement is slow and linear.
  11. I tried to adjust the steering tiller in FSUIPC. When I would step on the left rudder pedel to steer, I'de careen off the runway if I pressed the left rudder. With outside cockpit view I noticed when I would use the L rudder pedal, the rudder would move all the way to the left in a full movement. Help
