OK, so this is how it is, really interesting. I will test out the 28 FPS first thing. However, so far I'm kind of in heaven with my new system. In spite of setting an unlimited FPS so far the sim is sooo smooth. But when all my remaining addons are installed and I go for my first serious flight it probably will occur pretty fast that the 28 FPS limit is just right. A little off topic, but after a long while thinking and reading on several fora I desided to build my PC with a Socket-1366 board and a i7-920 2.67 GHZ which I have OC to about 3.2 GHz. I used to have a 3.6 GHz Pentium IV , but now everything is so much faster and smoother, I think 3 times increase in all respects to give an idea. Well back now to the WideFS, I will start cabling as soon as I have found my computer you know "pandora box" with all the kreti and pleti. Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend, Carl

But, putting it another way; it would not be problematic making a cable connection then.... :wink: ( I assume a cross cable - I'm not an expert on network setup). By the way, since you mentioned performance in my FS, with my new computer that will be 35-70 FPS depending on the complexity of addons. Hello, Finally I have installed WideFS for use with FS2004. After starting WideClient, FS at my server computer and ASv6.5 on the client computer, ASv6.5 stated that there was a FS connection. However, before weather data was finished loading, ASv6.5 stated - not connected to FS. I then tried starting Radar Contact and the following error message came up: IPC-request contains bad data As I have a wireless connection I assume the problem lies there. What does the error message indicate as wrong setting(s) ? On the server machine I have Vista Home premium 64 Bit, on the client machine I have XP Pro 32 BIt. Server machine is connected to the router by cable. Client machine has a wireless connection using D-link DWA-547 2,4 GHz. Hello, I am going to buy Fs Wide for FS2004. I allready have the registered FSUIPC since many years ago. When looking at the product page in Simmarket follwing is stated as requirement: ---- FSUIPC3 WITH KEY ISSUED TO THE SAME NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS IS REQUIRED ---- I have, however, changed my e-mail adress since I bought the FSUIPC. I have also tried to find a way to update my e-mail adress within the registered data in FSUIPC. With no sucsess. How will I be able to buy the Fs Wide now ? Carl
