Finally I have installed WideFS for use with FS2004.
After starting WideClient, FS at my server computer and ASv6.5 on the client computer, ASv6.5 stated that there was a FS connection. However, before weather data was finished loading, ASv6.5 stated - not connected to FS. I then tried starting Radar Contact and the following error message came up: IPC-request contains bad data
As I have a wireless connection I assume the problem lies there. What does the error message indicate as wrong setting(s) ?
On the server machine I have Vista Home premium 64 Bit, on the client machine I have XP Pro 32 BIt.
Server machine is connected to the router by cable. Client machine has a wireless connection using D-link DWA-547 2,4 GHz.
The router is a NETGEAR RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N,4 x Gigabit LAN, 300 Mbps 802.11N, 2,4 and 5Ghz
