  1. Hi All

This has likely been addressed earlier but thought I would bring it up.

When using Taxi wind with FS2004 I find that when on the ground or on approach that the wind speed fluctuates between 01knots and what ever the current wind is.

The problem with this is that not having foot pedals, it makes it difficult to land because the wind may be at 1 knot then jumps possibly up to 10 or more knots depending on what the wind speed is

I presently have the registered version FSUIPC 3.30 and using FSMeteo weather.

I can overcome this by Disabling surface winds and wind gust and changing the Max Wind speed on FSMeteo to 01.

By making these changes everytime I receive an ATIS I always hear winds calm.

I guess what I am asking is there a way of ensuring when requesting Taxi Winds that it remains at a constant 1 knot and not fluttering back and forth.

    Sorry for being long winded.

  2. Unsure whether this is a problem with FSUIPC or something else.

Installed FS2004 several days ago and registered version of FSUIPC. On several flights using the Lear 45 with Auto Pilot and Throttle set during inflight the throttle will drop to 00 and the weather remains at 12 MAG.

I am using active sky generated weather.

The weather will still be generated but the weather is not being transferred to the FS2004 program after the throttles setting freeze at 00.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

  3. Hi Everyone

I just registered FSUIPC today after installing FS2004.

FS2002 in conjunction with FSUIPC freeware allowed me to turn the winds off to 01 knots.

I really enjoyed this function as it made it possible for me to land my Cessena 182 during gusty winds without ending up on the taxiways instead of on the runways.

I know this is a minor issue but it made it more enjoyable for me flying FS2002.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Kenny G.
