Thanks Stephan. I have mine set up exactly as you do, and mine doesn't work. I am using 1.014, and everything worked fine before this update. Is the 1.016 update the Pro model? I was under the impression that 1.014 was the latest version of the aircraft. This is driving me nuts :)

Pete, the majestic Q400 uses the spoiler axis to control the tiller. That is how they designed it to work. But they are telling me that the spoiler axis should never be negative. If this is wrong I will tell them that. I'm not saying this is an FSUPIC issue, I am just trying to figure out how to make it work. So my question to you is, is there a way to make FSUPIC report this axis starting at 0 and going to 65000 or whatever? If not I will tell them that and see what other ideas they have. Thanks.

Hi Pete. I have something that I'm not really sure what the issue is. In the Majestic Q400 I can't get the tiller to work after they updated to their latest version. I use a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, and I have the grey throttle friction control assigned to the spoilers, with it being aircraft specific. This is the only plane I have this control set up for. In FSUPIC this axis reports values from -16384 to 16383, with 0 obviously being centered. Majestic says that the spoiler control should never have a negative value. In their control panel program however, the axis shows values from 0-65536. Either way, I can't get it to control the tiller. Is there a way in FSUPIC that I can give this axis values from 0 to whatever instead of what it naturally reports? I hope this made sense...:) Thanks john croft

So would it be better to set the lower number to 2 or 4 instead of how I have it now, with the top number being 2? I know that FSUPIC won't kill all the wind shifts, I was just trying to get it to settle it down a little more than it currently is. Thanks. john

Hi Pete. I hate to ask you this, but especially lately with the crazy upper level winds I have been having problems with REX Exxential Plus causing huge sudden wind shifts, both in velocity and direction. This causes either an overspeed or a severe underspeed. In my FDUPIC I have "Smooth wind changes near aircraft" selected with a value of 2, and the number below that is 0. Also checked is "Smooth only when airborne". Those are the only things I have checked on the Winds tab. Is there something else that I need to select to have this not be at least as much of an issue? Thanks Pete! I have not yet done the lettering thing, I will look that up before I start the reinstall. So when I reinstall an aircraft into FSX FSUPIC will auto detect it, or will I have to match it up with its own settings? John

Pete, I am unfortunately getting ready to have to re-install my OS and FSX. I have about 30 add on payware a/c, and they are all set up in paid FSUPIC as custom aircraft. Is there a way that I can I back up or copy a file so I don't have to set them all up again after I re-install? Thanks

Pete, Do we have to uninstall the old product and then install the new file, or just install over the old program? Also, will all our config data, such as axis and button information be saved throught the install process or are we going to have to reassign everything? Pete, I'm having the same problem. Valid FSUPIC registration, and I will be happy to supply the invoice for you if necessary, FSX, and Active Sky 6.5, all running on Win7 64 bit. I start Active Sky first, and then FSX, and it continues to say "FS not connected." I have been looking around for answers but haven't found one yet. All features of FSUPIC appear to be working normally as I have my Warthog HOTAS mapped through it and no problems with that at all. Any ideas? john croft

I am having a problem controlling the spoilers on all aircraft in FS9. I use an Saitek X52 combo, and in FSX I have the spoilers assigned to the slider on the throttle, which works fine. However, in FS9 the slider will not control them at all. I then attempted to assign them to one of the rotarys on the throttle, and that causes the spoiler handle to jump all over the place. For this reason I purchased a registration key for FSUPIC, and I am using version 3.90. I have attempted to assign "axis spoilers" to both the slider and the rotaries through FSUPIC and what it does now, as I try to deploy them, the handle will go to the "arm" position, then with further movement of the control it will jump to fully deployed with nothing in between. Then to the spoilers I have to use the keyboard as teh assigned axis has no control. Am I doing something wrong here? This is happening on all my transport category aircraft that have spoilers.
