Hi All..
I hope you all enjoy this up-coming weekends flying.
I've been given an emergency fill in shift for the weekend,
and as such will miss both Saturday and Sunday's opportunities to fly with you all.
Also I'll miss the following Weekend (April 4th/5th) Flying
As I'll be away from my PC, and out of town on a Conference.
I will fly the legs some time during the week to catch up though.
And I'm still trying to get AlphaSim to work with me on getting the 'Bou ready for the Grand finale at Plum
-
greetings all
Yes there will be a Saturuday 14th March leg.
(Mostly for me since I'm working during the 'official' fly-in time)
This will be at 1800gmt not 1900gmt
Since daylight savings is starting to Roll back in parts of the world, a decision has been made.
Hope to see some people there.

Very interesting indeed,
So can we see if we can have an EFFC FBO at this new place in Germany?
I'll need a hub of European operations if I'm to continue my freelance Freight services world wide.
Madaz Air Freight (in conjunction with Emma Air Charters),
"Anything, Anywhere, in Any Weather"
[EDIT]
Let's pass the tin around and see if we can't raise the coin to have an EFFC hanger at this new place.
Then with the copy of the scenery that's bought with the funds, offer it as a prize in an EFFC competition/raffle [/EDIT]

As usual, we also flew the identical leg on Saturday with Madaz, and next Saturday, Madaz will be online again, so if possible, come and fly along with him even if you only have an hour to spare.
@Madaz - - Next Sat. (because of DST) I’ll be online at 18:00 Zulu instead of 19:00 Zulu.
Puppy
Agreed..
Next Saturday 14 March, 18:00 Zulu

good to see you still kicking around Shamir.
Nice looking Camera rig you got there too.
Kind of envious of your job, getting to take photo's of beautiful ladies all day.
Man some people have the life

Greetings All..
Just got my new work roster for the fortnight.
I'll be flying on the Saturday again for the next 2 weeks.
As I'll miss Sunday legs due to work.
Usual Times.
1900 Zulu, March 7th
on Team Speak and FS Host.
Join in if you can make Sundays.
-
I'll be There...
Saturday 28 Feb-09
Time: 19:00 ZULU
I'll be online with Team Speak and FS Host.
So feel free to join me if you can't make Sunday.
I apologize for the lack of communication from me over the last week.
Had some troubles with a member of my team.
I don't want to ruin the spirit of camaraderie, or place any kind of dampener on the fun we all have.
But it's with a heavy heart that I must announce that my friend of 14 years Ukyo (AKA: First Officer Perry Chute)
Lost her battle with cancer on Thursday 26th Feb.
The rest of the gang, (Mal Function, Weda Hekawi, and Roo Pert) and my self would ask of you all to consider some form of small flying tribute for her.
Be it a wing waggle, Fly by, or if your adventurous enough, a loop or roll.
The right seat in the Twin Otter will be left vacant for the remainder of the cross country flight.
We'll look to taking applications for a new crew member after the arrival at Plum.

My understanding.. given it could be very incorrect.
was UTC/Zulu/GMT wasn't affected by Daylight savings changes.
Since Queensland, Australia as Pup's correctly pointed out doesn't observe Daylight Savings.. is ALWAYS GMT+10
Does this mean that when London kicks over to Daylight savings some 'Time fairy' comes in and shifts all my clocks with out me noticing a change I my daily routine?
Highly unlikely.
Given the very flexible nature of my working schedule.
if you all pick a time in Zulu, and I should be able to make it. (Unless I get given the proverbial wrong end of pineapple on my shifts)

..and as may be deduced from my login name, I'm Brad (one the the Brad-Triplets here.. )... AKA EFC-356...
I'm another one of the Brad Triple Feature. :D
And so You will find me using the moniker of : Madaz
Saves alot of confusion 8)

I'll miss the next leg due to work commitments
However..
I will fly the next leg on
Saturday 21 Feb-09
Time: 19:00 ZULU
I'll be online with Team Speak and FS Host.
So feel free to join me if you can't make Sunday.

A most enjoyable flying experience Gentlemen.
I only managed to snap a Couple of pic's at KDEW: Deer Park.
I appologise to you wonderful pilots, I couldn't quite remember the parking order we adopted at KDEW.
(I'd already had a few #5's and not nearly enough Cheese that this stage in the Fly-In.)
1 Shot of the our Squadron.
With I believe Brad S to my immediate left and Socalpilot Taxiing up in the Mooney.
Brad S in the foreground, with myself in the other Twin otter, and BTburgy at the far end in his Goose.

OK:
"Dick" is short... for Richard, right? :P :P
Then to avoid embarrassment in this Fly-in, I dub thee: "William Richard - The First" !
GaryGB
Make that SIR William Richard the First.
-
Thank you Gary..
And to all of those who have been working to co-ordinate this up comming fly-in
I owe each and every one of you a long over due beer (or #5)
Thank you gentlemen.
-
Most Outstanding my good man.
Surly a worthy addition to anyones hanger.
Certainly make the next Pylon Race interesting :P
-
I'll make the Sunday 15th Kick off either 1700 or 1900 utc..
But the next 2 legs would have to be Saturdays, Either time..
As I'll be working for Sunday Legs.
-
From one Brad to another Brad.....pretty dang cool! :D
Adding a 3rd Brad to the mix..
This could get very confusing at MP fly-ins.... Even the test fly-in we did this last weekend had 2 Brads online...you had to deduce by topic which Brad was being addressed
Hence why I go by the moniker of Madaz.
Mush less confusion that way
-
My 2nd post (The one with the pic) where I confirm the aircraft I'll be using has been edited to include Info.

Really nice repaint.. Hope your Air-venture pays well :D

We've been looking for you online, and hope to see you pop in on the Emma Field TS and MP server soon! :D
Yeah, minor problem with FSX..
Ever time I task switch it crashes to desktop.
but I thin I have it licked now, message me an approx time you'll be flying online (UTC) and I'll see if I can make it for a dummy run
Might be an idea to include a Departure ICAO too.
-
Quick Question...
Is the scenery pack for the X-Country flight available anywhere..? for FSX
I have the flight plan, and test flew the KPWT to KDEW leg.
Nice flight.
Looking forward to joining in.
I'll probably buzz in from Center Island: 78wa

Here's the sim Title for the plane I'll be using
"de Havilland Canadian Twin Otter BMR"
It's the Aerosoft Twin Otter DHC-6 with the free re-paint off avsim as I previously mentioned.
Premier Aircraft Design have a passable FREE twin otter available for download on Avsim also if you need a ship to Alias.
Hope to see you there.

Francois..
You're story has me sitting here cross legged, and vowing to drink more water than I currently do
It may well have been a painful and uncomfortable experience, but you are (In my eyes) the bravest man to live.
Your sacrifice, and telling of your tale, shall no doubt educate many and save us from such an unfortunate fate.
May your Yellow Streak run deep and eternal, much like the Yellow River in China.
I award to you the Yellow Medal of Number 1's

Yes indeed I am still very much Bonkers over 'Bous.
And whilst Alphasim are proveing some hat incapeable of ressurecting my account.
I may find my self having to repurchase the 'Bou from them to get a new down loader with the FSX port over.
Watch out, There may be a 'Bou about
