    TOPER Airac Generator Utility

For all like me who did not understand, download the PSS Navigraph data here https://www.navigraph.com/FmsDataManualInstall.aspx Then install to a drive you like e.g.G:\Program Files (x86) You'll get a PSS directory there. Put toper-db-updater.exe into this directory and run it. Copy the runways_10.dat and airports_10.dat to the Toper Calculator Tool directory and overwrite the older ones. That's it. Dan

    P3D4.3 FSUIPC related CTD

Deleting the weather files was one of the 1st measures I took. Tonight I tried to uninstalling and reinstalling the P3D4 client. This was also no success. Tomorrow I will check once to disable SODE and start with FSUIPC.

    P3D4.3 FSUIPC related CTD

I usually use the latest version, but I never saw this one. I usually got the actual version from here http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html. It's called the Official Peter Dowson Page. The actual version didn't change things. I still get the same CTD and since there was only a little change, I didn't expect a wonder. The sim itself got not changed in the last months, only the addons, which are mainly sceneries and a few aircraft in my case. Hardware: I changed my RAMs with faster ones. Also AppCrashView does not list a report. I'd really would like to give you this report, but P3D4 does not send a report. I know, FSUIPC has nothing to do with scenery. But the sim does not crash on some places but does on others. Without FSUIPC the sim runs fine. I thought, its maybe an interaction with the SODE module. Just a thought of an unkowning. Never mind. Dan
  4. Hi I have recent problems with CTDs with P3D4.3. Because of this I deleted all generated files and added my addons again. The sim was stable until I added FSUIPC. I get a CTD after loading the flight. It does not happen, with the default flight, but as soon as I go to an airport with SODE jetways, I get a CTD. I tried FSDT LSGG and a freeware LFSB with SODE jetways. Without FSUIPC I can visit these airports without problem. Before these problems came, I used FSUIPC long time, never had a problem. I'm using the latest version of FSUIPC for P3D4 from August 3rd. I deleted the weather files and wxstationlist.bin with no effect. That is the actual log from FSUIPC. I didn't get a windows error log unfortunately. ********* FSUIPC5, Version 5.14 (3rd August 2018) by Pete Dowson ********* Running inside Prepar3D v4 Module base=7FFAC8C50000 Windows 10 Home 64 Bit reported as Build 17134, Release ID: 1803 (OS 10.0) Prepar3D.exe version = 4.3.29.25520 Reading options from "G:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Modules\FSUIPC5.ini" Checking the Registrations now ... MyTraffic 6.0a public beta

Just tried MyTraffic 6.0 with the patch (not the beta) with P3D3. It gave me an error log for a lot of Mytraffic aircraft. I checked and found, that these aircraft.cfg errors are actually there. I just checked the double engine_type error. It looks like this [GeneralEngineData] engine_type = 5 //0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turboprop Engine.0 = -28.4, -13.3, 2.7 //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum Engine.1 = -28.4, 13.3, 2.7 //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum engine_type = 5 //0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turboprop Engine.2 = -28.4, -13.3, 2.7 //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum Engine.3 = -28.4, 13.3, 2.7 //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum fuel_flow_scalar = 1.0 //Scalar for fuel flow efficiency min_throttle_limit = -0.25 //Minimum percent throttle. Generally negative for turbine reverser The entry is twice and the 4 engines of the AN-12 are on only 2 positions. That's maybe intentionally done so. The two engine_type definitions are one too much ;-). _ You may want to fix this too. Find the list of all errors attached separately. Cheers Dan P.S. So far I didn't get traffic to show up in P3D3. Patch to MyTraffic 6.0

Hi Burkhard In Version 5.4c I had the impression, MyTraffic lacks from Cargo Airlines. I haven't seen enough from V.6 till now, to say it's still the same. I certainly missed Aerologic 777 in FRA. Regards Daniel

Thanks for the explanation. I thought, there are also different models (mdl).

    MTX 6 performance choices

Hi I recently got Mytraffic 6. The manual is still from v5.4a. It says there's an option to select different models for the aircraft. Is this still an option? I can't find any menu in the communicator letting me change the aircraft models. In the former version, this menu was available. I found Manage_Aircraft_Config.exe in the aircraft directory. Looking forward to your answers. Thanks Daniel

    FSUIPC installation searches P3D

Hi thanks for the answers. I usually do just cancel and everything works fine. Just thought it maybe something I can tune with FSUIPC. There's a reason I removed P3D. It makes a mess of a system and even disable itself to update I think. This will be the same reasons why I have now FSUIPC still searching for P3D. I remember having uninstalled P3D with a tool, searching the registry after uninstall routine for remains. But I think I will have to do it manually. Regards Dan
  10. Hi I uninstalled Prepar3D 2.3. Always when I want to update FSUIPC it searches for prepar3d.exe and ask me to show the exe. Where is this information kept, that I had P3D installed. There is no uninstallation of FSUIPC, isn't it? I then would just remove it and install it again. Regards Dan

    E Jets v2 repaints

I bought the Embraer ERJ 145, 135 and ERJ 145 XR (XRJ) - v.2 two days ago. Today I saw, the liveries where not included. What a strange decision? But FS9 installation file is included to increase the download size by 100%. I don't need it, but the liveries, which I expected. Now I see the download for the liveries is broken for two (2) months. The free liveries from McPhat Studios advertised by Simmarket aren't available either. That's really bad guys and makes my trust in this company going down from 100 to 50%. Next time I will rather not buy a Feelthere product. This needs more than a simple sorry to make me not think your trying to increase the sales of the livery packs.

STB doesn't connect anymore over lan

It's definitely a Microsoft Visual C+ dll, causing the problem. I don't know exactly which one. I assume it's a 2005 64 bit version. I had them in again on the FSX computer and connectivity was gone. After removing all of them and installing the one from the original FSX dvd restored the abillity to connect. Of course Windows 7 does update after the install some security updates to 8.0.61001 and also installs Visual C 2008 64 bit 9.0.30729.6161. If I find out, which VClib is causing problems, I will post here again.

STB doesn't connect anymore over lan

It's connecting again! I don't know what it was. I first unistalled on the FSX machine all double Visual C++ 2005 Redistributables, because I had crashes of FSX related to MSVCR80.dll. I then installed a 32 bit VCRedist 2005 again. I also installed a new Nvidia driver (which shouldn't be related). I also connected my wireless adapter, which is redundant, to the network. I use a cable connection on the fsx machine, but hat a wlan adapter plugged in. This gave some errors. I also disabled a virtual network connection (microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter). That's about all I remember having done this morning and now it works again. I guess it's the visual C+ problem, because I recently installed some before and after I had the problems. After uninstalling all 2005 versions and installing the one FSX is relying on, it works again.

  15. Hi I use STB 3.2.1.7 on a second PC and FSX Acceleration with STBDS 3.2.1.5 on the first PC. AI is Mytraffic. Everything is properly configured and I could connect before. Since yesterday STB doesn't connect. When I press the red connect button it becomes yellow. The message window shows "Deleting old STB Flight Plans and Connecting to Flight Simulator X, please wait. I can wait forever, nothing happens. The STB Menu bar is still active, so my conclusion is, the program runs and waits for FSX. Data Port 32123 is used and set on both programs. Also the name of my pc with FSX, RAKETE2 is set. I reinstalled STB and STBDS, run configuraton successfully. The only thing that changed was the installation of Captainsim 777, which installs a cs.sound.dll into dll.xml. But I had other CS aircraft before using the same dll. If I use the local STB, it connects. How can I trace down, what the problem is? Dan
