  1. Using p3d v5.4 on up to date W10, current version fsuipc ... there no response

    in the assignment page when i press or move any of the 3 hat switches so rescan a no-go ... even tried the button in the game's (howls of indignation)

    controls page as per FSX + P3d ... just in case some one reading this has my JS its a VKB Gladiator NXT Evo, recently purchased ... has the standard handle ...  alan

  2. Hi ...... perhaps someone can answer the following : I have a Logitech Driving Force GT racing wheel/pedals, and wonder whether it possible, using one of the above which permits a direct pedals/PC USB connection, rather than the standard pedals/wheel unit connection, it'd be feasible to use the accelerator/brake pedals as rudder pedals with the help of FSUIPC???

  3. of everytime we re-install(or are forced to re-install as often happens) FSX or P3D we have to slog our way through replacing the default control bindings with our personal defaults .... how nice it'd be if it were simply a case of replacing, prior to first run of the sim, the fsuipc.cfg with our own saved version and hey presto instant control ... I for one'd love to know how much of my time throughout my simming career has been spent with this tiresome and surely avoidable maneouvre????

  4. Recently reinstalled W7 64-bit and p3dv4 .... ran OK for a day or so now no go ..... if i remove fsuipc the sim fires up normally .... have a completely clean install of the sim ... below is the relevant info:

  5. Hi one and all ... I recently acquired a Goflight throttle quadrant which I am struggling to get to grips with in the above plane ... I wonder whether someone in the know would cast their eyes over my attached profile and confirm or otherwise that my settings are viable .... the problem I am having revolves around interaction between throttles and prop pitch, the logic of what is going on I cannot follow, so can't begin to describe it ... I appreciate that turboprops control logic is distinctive ... as and when I am sure my quadrant is set up properly I will then see if I can bone up on the subject ...

  6. Hi ...

    i wonder whether there might be an alternative to the 'hold down mousewheel' activation as i have a physical problem which precludes use of the mousewheel in that manner ... i do however have side buttons on my mouse ... any possibility of mapping the function to the right one of them which would involve my thumb which is usable ...

  7. I am trying to create a macro for a button which when you press it doesn't stay depressed but pops back out. The macro i've produced for the press is: [Macros]

    Module="DA.PA31SYS.DLL"

    1=piperaltarm=RX154b0*X55cc

    i have read the addendum in the user guide covering the 'return' of buttons i.e. the use of ,11 and ,17 but can't make a lot of it. Any chance someone can give me the additional text which will cover the button's return??

    Alan

  8. Hi Guenseli ...

    appreciate your response. I don't think what you're suggesting will do it as there is no 'button release' available to use ... that is the problem i am trying to solve. For the 'arm' function to work the button has to return to the 'out' position. It can be done as i did it some time ago but unfortunately lost my backup copy of the macro in a recent disk wipe-out( how I did it is a mystery to me ... it must have been some kind of divine intervention as I have absolutely none of the know-how required to do these sorts of thing). I have a vague recollection of adding some extra code to the code as in my first post along the lines of what Peter mentions in the user guide ... the addition of ,11 or ,17. Beyond that all is a blank ...

  9. Hi ...

    I am attempting to operate a button which is 'double-acting' if i can put it that way ... you press it in and it pops back out. With the macro as below set up the button stays in the 'in' position so i need the code to create the return to the 'out' position. Hope that makes sense!(for anyone who knows the Digital Aviation Piper Cheyenne for FSX its the 'Altitude Arm' button for the AP). I have read the section at the end of the Mouse Macro section in the docs which discusses buttons less easy to set, but can't make any headway with it ...

    [Macros]

    Module="DA.PA31SYS.DLL"

    1=altarm=RX154b0*X55cc

    thanks in advance ...

    Alan

  10. Hi ...

    hopefully somebody can put me right with this. I wish to create a mouse macro to operate the Altitude Arm button in

    this plane..I follow the instructions and its plain sailing up to the point where i press the tab key to test and only see 'half' of

    the desired action taking place ... i.e. when using the mouse to click this button it depresses then immediately pops back out

    but when i test it stays depressed ...

  11. Hi ....

    i wish to have a crack at creating mouse macros in FSX but cannot work out how to have the fsuipc gui sitting on top of the panel for which I wish to create the macros. The only access to the fsuipc GUI I have is via the add-ons tab but that opens the GUI on an otherwise black screen from which I can't access the panel??

    appreciate any help ...

    Alan
