  1. No he can't because we won't let him leave Great Britain, he's ours. But under an agreement you may use his work, but stay's here :) Anthtony (UK)
  2. Yes well done Anthony...
  3. If it isn't doing any harm I wouldn't go to great lengths to eliminate it, it is more a matter of curiousity than anything. Regards, Pete Pete Just to finish this curiousity of mine off, I downloaded the FSNav again, the file creation doesn't happen now. Must have been the dll fix they released as I said above. I must of forgot to download the full package after the fix was made. Anyway now I can sleep and stop pacing around :D Anthony.
  4. Ah .. I have that installed on one of my PCs. I'll go look, se if I have an "FSUIPC.TXT" in my Temp folder too. Thanks! Pete Pete This evening I will download the full Fsnav again and install. I am sure perhaps it was that fix, I wish I could remember what it did. Will get back later tonight/tomorrow. Anthony..........
  5. Yes please. Regards, Pete Pete I have found out that it is FSnav 4.60, I renamed the dll and it did not happen, of course i have had to rename it back again. FSnav.dll file ver 4.6.0.0 created 24/08/03 size 1,552,384 I seem to remember that when they released it first there was a problem that I can't remember what it was, so they released a quick fix. Perhaps it's that and I should download it again, anyway that's what's causing it. Perhaps anyone else reading this could check their file size of the above and let me know if there is a difference in what they have. Anthony......
  6. No not testing anything out that uses FSUIPC, I have only been testing out some scenery for a couple of firms. Bit worrying this, I must have a good look around, although come to think of it I did a test on WC2 and FlightKeeper, will have to ask them. Just seemed a bit odd why it was going to there, I suppose that is the way they have set it up on their machines. Thanks anyway, if I find out I will let you know just for interest. Anthony
  7. Peter When I bought FSUIPC I unzipped it to my c:\temp folder and moved the fsuipc.dll as normal to my FS9 folder on d:\fs2004. Each time I run FS2004 I get a fsuipc.txt file in the c:\temp, each time I delete it, it comes back. The contents are the following PGAUGESLINKAGE: 0x010e6550 ModuleInit: 0x010ca6d0 ModuleDeinit: 0x010ca3c0 There is nothing usaully in the c:\temp, I only use it for unzipping after I have downloaded a file to it. It does not bother me that it's there, but just interested in why it goes there in the first place as the folder does not have anything to do with FS2004 or it's path. Thanks Anthony..
  8. Damian I have email you twice with the results of the beta you gave me the link to, I have had no reply as I did not with keith at the later involvment he had. I with others defended Keith on many forums, at Avsim a heated debate went on in the early days, praising the support etc, but I kept checking the WC2 forum after you said to keep monitoring it, weeks went on without any reply's at all. Now I think enough is enough shame really as I think without the stutter, it would have been really good. I have been helping out UK2000 UK scenery at the moment, with a problem that they had, which is now fixed, but I must say that they responded to suggestions although how stupid perhaps they seemed at the time. I put a lot of time into WC2, not like many testers, expecting "freebies", or the fact of getting it quicker, but to help us get something that is reasonably stable and good to use. So without any response to testing of WC2, I feel it's time for me to knock it on the head. Anthony
  9. Actually, didn't someone say Damian of ActiveWeather had taken this program over now in any case, or am I mixing up some other weather programs? Regards, Pete Yes you are correct Pete, they did take it over, and they still can't sort it out. I went back to FSmeteo in the end, at least that works, and has only very slight stutters on updates of weather. Really bad in the others, even with their latest, support seems to be bad as well Anthony.....
  10. Could not of said it better myself Bob........ :) Anthony....
  11. Dale After heated emails last night, I ended up telling them to take my details off their server, I don't want their stuff now, I will stick to Dreamfleet, the proffessionals, in all way's. I wonder if we should stop this as I don't want to upset Peter, I was going to put a link to here from AVSIM so people can see what is going on with them. But I thought better, although still tempted. I would like to have posted somewhere the aggresive emails I had from them when I was just asking a simple question, but no lets get on with flying. It's them that have shot themselves in the foot over all of this. I will stop now Peter,. thanks for the space  Anthony........
  12. Dale It seems that you had the same problems as me from them, dont worry about it, I don't. But I think something more general should be put out somewhere about all this and what's happened to us. Anthony.......
  13. Hello John It's nice to see you are still around, hope you remember me, Anthony N.devon UK. We had some great times emailing regarding the FSmax. Seeing that you echo the words I have said, it must be correct what I think of, Steve Small, tries to let your side of the world down, but we know better. If you still have my emmail address drop me a line, Oh, and bloody come back :( Anthony......
  14. Peter, I would not bother yourself regarding the comments from FSD. I had a run in with them last night regarding blocking my download limit. I will not go into that here though, but all I can say is that I have never communicated with such an arrogant person before on the internet. People here know that your software works, and if it doesn't you fix it. Also you do not play at god, an expect total praise all the time on your forum, unlike other's mentioned above. I think other people are getting a bit cheesed off as well. I am. First time I posted her, but read the thread and thought it needed to be said. Keep up the good work Peter, and for anyone else that may be reading who it may concern, I only give praise people to whom derserve it, like Peter Dowson who is not arrogant, but a darn site cleverer than me. Thanks Peter again. Anthony (EGDC)
